1 /5 Stephanie Heather: I should have read the other reviews before ruining my day here. What a garbage excuse for a neurologist office.
I was met with a scowling receptionist who gave me a pile of redundant paperwork. While I was on time, Dr Drew was not. He showed up over half an hour late and didn’t greet me or introduce himself.
I told him I felt uncomfortable and that he was coming across as unfriendly to which he said, “someone literally died in the next room. They literally just died,” and went off on some tangent. I was astonished. Nobody had died? People show up for emergencies like that at a small practice. What kind of person lies about that? Even if he was telling the truth wouldn’t someone come to my room and tell me there was an emergency and he’d be with me soon and to stay in the room?
I can’t get over this bizarre thing. So they were moving a deceased person around? That’s upsetting, either way.
He then challenges me that if I’m unhappy he can recommend someone else in Plano or Dallas. OK…
I wanted to get out of there so badly but I had waited months for them to call and set the appointment up. Finally I get a prescription….and later I find out it isn’t covered by my insurance but when I called to talk to them they have their phones shut off before 4:30 when they close. Nice, right?
I was so upset when I left. I told the glum receptionist how awful they all did and she said I was “entitled to my opinion”
I guess that’s why my grandfather was chief of staff and you’re all there.
Never worth it here, people. I’m certain friends of family are their only 5 star reviews.
