1 /5 Skye P: If you value clear communication, competent care, and a doctor who actually remembers your medical history ā this is not the place for you.
Iāve visited this office three times now, and each visit has left me feeling more frustrated and uneasy. From my understanding, there are two physician assistants and one doctor at this practice ā yet Iāve never met the actual doctor.
Each time Iāve seen PA Andrew, heās forgotten information heās previously told me, particularly regarding medication interactions. Itās incredibly concerning to receive conflicting or repetitive information about something as important as my prescriptions.
He also claimed he would prescribe 90-day supplies for both of my medications ā yet only filled 30-day prescriptions instead. Whether itās forgetfulness or intentional, itās frustrating to feel like I canāt rely on what Iām being told.
On top of that, he seems extremely apprehensive about prescribing medication that my neurologist had no hesitation in recommending ā a neurologist who was already fully aware of my medical history and current medications. Even the pharmacist had no issues when I filled the prescription, which makes me believe PA Andrewās hesitation was excessive and unnecessary.
When I mentioned that I had decided not to see a third neurologist, PA Andrew continued to press me for details, crossing boundaries and making me feel uncomfortable.
The office communication is also extremely poor. I called three times to cancel an appointment, yet it was never canceled. The practice relies on an answering service, and unfortunately, the individual I spoke with struggled with English, which made communication difficult. While language barriers can be challenging, it became frustrating because I couldnāt get my concerns addressed.
This office seems fine if youāre dealing with minor concerns like a cold, but for anything requiring specialized care or consistent communication, I wouldnāt recommend it. Despite being located in a hospital, they donāt have an in-house phlebotomist, which is surprising and inconvenient. Additionally, Iām unsure if they even have nurses ā the front desk staff are the ones taking vitals, and I canāt confirm whether theyāre medically trained or just administrative staff.
Overall, this practice has felt disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional. If you need a reliable doctorās office that values clear communication and thorough care, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
