After having my vehicle at a different repair facility for over a week, it never being completed nor repaired properly and almost ruined , I decided to take it to Goose Automotive on Bandera. They were able to fix the damage the other shop had done and fix the car properly in two days!!! Impressive!! Excellent customer service in the front office by Joseph and excellent craftsmanship on the floor by Jake. This shop is highly recommendable and I am extremely satisfied and at peace now having the car repaired properly and on a superb timely manner. Thank you Goose Automotive

1 /5 Danny Crisp: This is one of those mechanic shops that take advantage ,cause damage and give shops a bad rep. I guess I messed up by letting them know I was here on vacation and obviously I have to drive home, they definitely charged me accordingly. No moral integrity within the shop. 4 lower ball joint bolts connected to the knuckle needed replaced, one needed drilled out and tapped for threads. Almost $500 dollars for this, this was even WITHOUT a diagnostic fee as no diagnosis was needed. I was quoted $427 for 4 bolts and 1 retapped. To keep on about terrible prices when it was time to pay they wanted to charge me $580 and some change. I reiterated to the man that they quoted me around $400 and had some back and forth with them. After a little typing on his computer he said that “he must have made a mistake” and granted a different quote of $470. Absolutely careless and not even the first sign of trying to steal my money. Of course there were attempts at up-charges, I declined all. This part may be subject to opinion as I do almost all of my own work and am not familiar with shop prices. Though they did absolutely obliterate my upper control arm for no reason as well as damage to my spindle. It is not nessesary at all whatsoever to remove the upper ball joint to remove the lower. So the structural strength of upper arm is compromised completely (pic attached) but of course no compensation even after admitting they caused the damage. On top of the damage and gouging on price, I overheard the staff making disrespectful remarks about myself and another older gentleman before they noticed I was there. There was also very little communication from them about the whole process I had to initiate every conversation and update. Just not a good face for a business. I wish that was the last thing but to finish it off they are either incompetent or lazy mechanics. They left the main lower nut of my lower ball joint completely loose when all you have to do is hold the top of the bolts head still while you tighten bottom nut. I had to take my truck to a different shop the next day and get this fixed. Overall a terrible experience, I cant imagine how many folks they do this to on a regular basis. I would not recommend this shop at all. UNPROFESSIONAL DISRESPECTFUL AND SABOTEUR

2 /5 Marcos Campos: I wanted to like this place, but had to say that my experience was mostly frustrating. I scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning to get my car inspected for a road trip and to get an oil change. I dropped my car off at 8am, it was not till 1pm when I got updated on my vehicle and that was only because I had to call them. I went ahead with some of the services that they recommended i.e an oil change and new filters. I heard nothing again until I had my wife drive me to the location at 3:30pm. When I arrived and asked how much longer was told that it would be another 45 min before my car was done and I am pretty sure if I had not shown up that it would have been another 2hrs. It took them 8hrs to inspect my car and to do an oil change, I was without a car all day. I will say that I am sure that the people that work there are all nice people but today with me, they dropped the ball. I personally do not recommend taking your car to Goose Auto.

It’s clear they genuinely care about getting the job done right and keeping customers informed throughout the process. Trustworthy, efficient, and reliable — I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else.
