1 /5 Mathew Tammen: This Dr. has a “policy” of not calling family members if they are out of town and an older family member is in one of the facilities he covers. His bedside manner is awful and you can absolutely tell that you are only a number when dealing with him. If I had any choice whatsoever with the doctor assigned to my father while in a rehab hospital I would never choose this man or his staff. Absolute joke.

Miz Woo: I think very well of this hospital. I have been here a few weeks. Every one from the Doctors, the Nurses, the Aids , Techs, the whole Dietary Staff and the House Keeping have been wonderful. They are very efficient. The food is Tasty and Nourishing. The Hospital is clean and Tidy. The people are kind and understanding. As well as polite and all , I feel, are good at their respective jobs. They have made me feel like a Princess .

Lexi Armendarez: This has been the best hospital Ive been to. With an autoimmune its hard to find doctors who listen. The others try to give me pain meds but the doctors here try to find the root of my problem and do different testings. I drive an hour to go here. Staff is always considerate and understanding with what Im going through. Last time I was admitted and they brought me Tylenol and a heating pad because thats what I prefer. They checked throughout my stay. I feel seen and heard here. I send people who are sick in my hometown over here if they need to go. They have excellent doctors and caring staff. I am very grateful for this hospital and all the staff. Ive been going here for 2 years and will continue to visit if I have any issues. They have been the best hospital I have been to

Ruthl3ss B3auty: Update: Ms. Roni and the clinical administrator contacted me, answered every question and even told me if I needed to come back I could. The follow up was great and they made me feel like my toddler was their family member and wanted to do whatever to make sure everything was addressed. I brought my toddler to Beaumont Emergency Hospital yesterday around noon. Earlier this week, we were told she has strep and given amoxicillin. 3 days later, persistent fever and complaints of neck pain, I picked this place over an urgent care just in case we needed XRays etc and over Baptist to avoid the long wait. We are private pay, called before arrival and was given a quote of $350, this amount was okay for a piece of mind. Arrived, informed of recommendations, the total was $650 for an assessment, in house labs/swabs/xray (which was still okay for a piece of mind, advertised short wait times and kids being VIP). We experienced a longer than expected wait but kind receptionists, nurses and experienced physician.

Angela Travis: My husband almost died at this hospital a few weeks ago!! A nurse was giving him morphine and Ativan every fours hours, and he is in end stage renal on peritoneal dialysis! The bedside nurses are not knowledgeable about dialysis patients and I had to get a patient advocate to hurry and get him transferred to Houston. He went in with peritonitis and breathing just fine, and became unresponsive after she was pushing drugs into him, and had to be placed on a ventilator and moved to ICU!!! The hospital is filthy, and I came into ICU one morning and he was lying in wet sheets!! I am not done with this hospital, when we are able to return home, I will be following up on the promises they made to make change happen!! I witnessed one woman discharging her husband at night due to lack of care, and another Mom being talked to like a dog, while her son was in ICU needing a heart transplant! It stinks of mold in there, and elevators have not been working properly for years!! The younger nurses, when asked to help with just changing sheets, look at you like they are clueless, and have an attitude that those tasks are beneath them!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIFYING, and not how healthcare should be at all!!! If you can make the drive to Hoston Medical Center, get your loved ones there!!

Rhonda Waguespack: I would give a zero if I could. I never received a bill from them because my son has Medicaid. There should be no bill. I did however receive a bill from a collection agency!!!! When I try to give them the information for insurance, they will not take it. This place should be sued and shut down from all the other reviews similar to mine. These people have no conscience and I believe they are commiting insurance fraud.

The nurse that provided care on days has been the best caregiver I’ve ever came across in my 50 years. She helped us with every aspect of our journey. People like this give hope in some of our darkest hours. Maddie may God continue to bless you and we hope you have a long and blessed career. This is truly your calling.

brittany voorhies: do not recommend to anyone who expects answers for their loved one. absolutely no communication, nurses don’t know anything when you ask questions, and they let your family member lay in a bed and get UTI’s, pneumonia, and anything else that could go wrong. they don’t care about you or your worry for your family member. they just ridicule you, judge you for taking up for you loved one, and laugh at you. night shift does absolutely nothing but walk around on FaceTime all night. just overall terrible.

It’s been a long ordeal, but if not for her and the care he received I don’t know where we would be. I would recommend her to anyone. Many thanks from the wife of a husband who had the worst gallbladder in history. Anyone who needs a general surgeon Dr. Torres is it! I also want to say her staff is great. Always helpful at any time. Never had to wait for anything. You all were the greatest!
