The nurse that provided care on days has been the best caregiver I’ve ever came across in my 50 years. She helped us with every aspect of our journey. People like this give hope in some of our darkest hours. Maddie may God continue to bless you and we hope you have a long and blessed career. This is truly your calling.

1 /5 Jean Messer: If I could Id rate this a minus 10! This is suppose to be a "Trama Hospital"? I understand hospitals can be very busy But, they absolutely do not have any quality care of patients. My husband sat in a room for 11 1/2 hours with a large open wound from his prior surgery and the ONLY thing we needed was for a doctor to sign off for him to be transferred to Galveston where his previous surgical team was waiting and had his room prepared. There was absolutely no care until just after a doctor finally came in and immediately signed off then last minute they drew blood. We hit the call button and after 45 minutes I had to go find a nurse to get a cath kit. The hospital ER absolutely needs a deep cleaning, while 2 elderly patients were on beds in the hallway practically begging for help there were nurses less than 10 feet away having conversations and laughing ignoring patients. I would strongly advise to Never go to this incompetent hospital. The ER is dirty, there is zero care of patients, they have no sense of order, the nurses are hard to find and do not answer call lights. This is by far the worst hospital to go to!!

5 /5 Tyra H: My unfortunate 2 week stay at St E. Ended up saving my life I don’t remember my nurses or CNA names but I was treated fairly everyone was beyond nice even the dietary department showed hospitality also housekeeping from mid May - to the end of May 2024. I’m thankful. Thank you ST. E

2 /5 Dale Frazier: Lack of staff focus, the business end, hip replacement in my case was top notch. Support staff during recovery was awful. Now food, well have a kitchen full of locals from down here and you cant go wrong. Had it not been I dire need and ambulance trip, would rather the trek to Galveston or Houston which I have spent my fair share of time in

1 /5 Melanie Sutton: We came in to have a parentheses done after we left oncology. We were told that if we told them what needed to be done it would be an in and out procedure. Instead they waited around and pushed my Daddy to the back of the line in the ER so much so that now radiology has gone home and they wont see him to pull the fluid according to a Doctor OJ. A case manager came in and they have someone who may do i..tomorrow. I asked So what happens if someone needs this done overnight? "Ohh so sorry. They all went home. Can you just come back tomorrow but we cant give you a specific time". And now we are waiting out in the hall to discharge him. No one knows who is doing what. Im ashamed of this hospital.
