4 /5 Ruthl3ss B3auty: Update: Ms. Roni and the clinical administrator contacted me, answered every question and even told me if I needed to come back I could. The follow up was great and they made me feel like my toddler was their family member and wanted to do whatever to make sure everything was addressed.
I brought my toddler to Beaumont Emergency Hospital yesterday around noon. Earlier this week, we were told she has strep and given amoxicillin. 3 days later, persistent fever and complaints of neck pain, I picked this place over an urgent care just in case we needed XRays etc and over Baptist to avoid the long wait. We are private pay, called before arrival and was given a quote of $350, this amount was okay for a piece of mind. Arrived, informed of recommendations, the total was $650 for an assessment, in house labs/swabs/xray (which was still okay for a piece of mind, advertised short wait times and kids being VIP). We experienced a longer than expected wait but kind receptionists, nurses and experienced physician.
