Fast forward 6 months and I then had my next appointment. They said they’d call to schedule the MRI. Almost month later, no call. This time I called and they said they are “a little behind.” I told her about my family history and the issue last time and how urgent this is. The woman on the phone seemed unconcerned.
I have a high likelihood of getting breast cancer which is why I’m going to this cancer specialist in the first place. My OBGYN said I should be screened every 6 months. It has now been over a year. I will be switching to another doctor who takes my life and my care more seriously.
I mean no harm in this review. I truly hope it is seen and has a positive impact because I can’t be the only one. If you need more staff to take care of your patients, then hire more staff. People’s lives are on the line here.
