K OBanon: My mother has been a resident of LBJ Medical Center for a year now. Our family is very grateful for the love and care she receives from the staff. It has been such a comfort knowing that she feels safe and supported. We feel very blessed that she is happy and thriving in their care.
Robbie Powell: I lost my job at HCHD because I stood up to bullies. I am so proud of myself for doing so. I would do it again and will do it again if necessary. Administration only cares about THEIR 6 figure salaries. I have learned a sad, yet valuable lesson from HCHD, loyalty does not exist. Administration does not care about the employees.
HR and admin have destroyed me. After 16+ years of employment I had to cash in my retirement to survive. An employee of mine was being bullied by another department manager and I got terminated for reporting it. That department manager has treated other employees horribly with no consequences. My years of loyalty and dedication sadly meant nothing to them. HR basically erased my career of 25 years. HCHD HR and Admin have taken away my desire to be dedicated and loyal to another employer and coworkers. What was done to me can happen to anyone. An experience like this and others is what gives healthcare a bad reputation. I truly loved providing excellent care to this community! I have been in management many years and I always gave staff many opportunities to correct behavior issues. I was NEVER given any opportunity. I was given NO such courtesy.
Duke Largo: Excellent staff, great clinic. They took a late in the day, emergent horse for me on Thursday. A very special horse who had been in the family his whole 19 years. He ultimately required euthanasia. He was treated by staff with care and respect throughout the whole process including after his passing. The staff was very compassionate towards me, very caring and it was evident that they truly care for these animals as well as their owners. I feel confident in the care that my horse received, and Im grateful for the compassion that I recieved. Highly recommend this clinic.
Jeanette Wolf: My husband received excellent 5 star care with everyone that was involved with his care from the beginning, through the procedure, and to discharge to return home! We were given clear instructions to make his procedure as comfortable as it could be. Everyone was helpful and very professional!
Robbie: I was admitted for examination within 2 minutes of arrival. Once in my examination room 3 nurses came in and each had a separate job that they performed in a professional and expeditious manner. The staff were courteous and performed their assigned task in an efficient manner. I was diagnosed and treated and was very pleased with the treatment I received. I recommend TEC should you need emergency care.
C S: I am a patient at this clinic. In the beginning, I couldnt say enough about them. But recently things seemed to have changed, and not for the better. I had a scheduled appointment from six (6)months ago, and all of a sudden my appointment was changed without my knowledge. The only thing I can say now is to not take your current patients for granted, just because youre getting new patients.
