5 /5 Robbie: I was admitted for examination within 2 minutes of arrival. Once in my examination room 3 nurses came in and each had a separate job that they performed in a professional and expeditious manner. The staff were courteous and performed their assigned task in an efficient manner. I was diagnosed and treated and was very pleased with the treatment I received. I recommend TEC should you need emergency care.

1 /5 Autumn Maree: After reading the reviews I decided to take our young son (with special needs) here instead of the bigger one. We arrived at 4:30 with a fever of 102. The receptionist was great. Was immediately checked in and no one was in the waiting room. Walked backed to a room within 5 mins. The nurse comes in and charts his symptoms and did a swab test for the usual. After swabbing him she stuck it so far up like they used to at the beginning of covid and his nose immediately began to bleed. She left and came back I told her his nose was bleeding. She apologized and said the test would be done pretty fast and the doctor would be in. They had no tissues in there just hard rough paper towels to wipe his nose. After she left about 5:00 we never seen anyone for 3 hours straight. At this time my son’s ibuprofen that was given before the visit was wearing off and he’s shivering so bad. So after 8:00 after hearing so many people just talking about their life history. I stick my head out the door and ask the staff across the hall do they know how much longer for the test because he’s shivering from the fever. After looking shocked like they forgot about us, They replied oh it’s been back. We’ll be in there in a second. Comes in stated everything’s normal and looks in one ear and nothing else and says he has a redness in his ear and prescribes antibiotics and walks out. Nothing else was said or checked . Now the pharmacy is closed and my son keeps holding his throat (he’s non verbal) and is still running a high fever even after giving ibuprofen and Tylenol. I pray the rest of the staff is great like everyone has said. I just hope they pay more attention to their patients and is aware that they’re waiting especially ones that can’t speak for themselves. We will be seeing a different doctor tomorrow after looking at the discharge papers and some of his test wasn’t completed.

I was scared I may have had a blood clot, the doctor listened, did exactly what I needed and sent me on my way which is exactly what i expect from urgent care. Nothing more, nothing less! This is my go to for care when I dont have time to get into my pcp. These doctors and nurses are the most knowledgeable and accurate in Texarkana. I love Texarkana Emergency Center
