3 /5 Graham Trull: While the staff and care we received was great, we feel like we were taken advantage of... Brought our 1 year old in with a very high fever and they were able to bring his fever down using Tylenol and providing liquids.
We were only there an hour or two and ended up being billed around $2,000. Roughly $1,000 was for general care and another $1,000 was billed as an "anesthesiology fee". We didnt have any anesthesia needs, but apparently one of the doctors that oversaw our sons care was an anesthesiologist and they billed as such.
I understand an ER visit isnt going to be cheap, but billing for a service we didnt receive, just because they "could" felt like a ripoff.
For comparison, we just had a 2 night stay at the hospital in Austin at Dell Childrens with our daughter and they only invoiced us $400.
