Rachel Tiller My son needed staples because of a head injury. EMS, nurses, and the whole team were very kind! The place was clean and there was only one person in the waiting room at 3pm on a Wednesday. I saw nurses smiling which shows a positive work environment. Working in an ER can be stressful, and they had positive attitudes making us feel welcome.

Tejas Sweet Life -5 stars. I walked into the emergency room having chest and back pain and could not breathe compounded with shortness of breath. I started to black out in the waiting room and in the patient room. I asked a male hispanic-mexican nurse, "Please give me something for my back pain, I cannot breathe." He yelled at me and said," Are you talking? " Then you can breathe. I said, "Well, that work for George Floyd, didnt it?" I was later in a private room, and some woman doctor gave me an anxiety drug, Xanax, that made me black out. I was hallucinating when I woke up the next day. I could not find a doctor or a nurse on the floor. I did not know where I was. I felt I was still having a heart attack. I left the hospital and found my car. I hit a curb, damaging my fender, and got a flat tire. I walked into a library nearby and collapsed. Five days later, I woke up from a coma in ICU at another hospital. When asked why I left Christus, I said, "I didnt trust them" and what that nurse said to me.
CHRISTUS Health is not committed to excellence in quality of care. In fact, one hospital kept asking for tests, they ran on me and would not send the results. I will not be addressing my horrible treatment and concerns with their Integrity Line.
