1 /5 Sara Doonan: This is hands down the worst doctor’s office I’ve ever been to. My elderly mother suffers from multiple heart issues and after a 3 month wait for her first appointment with Dr. Ali, it’s only gotten worse. Her first time there, she waited 5 HOURS until she was seen. They said Dr. Ali had an emergency and that was all the info we were given. We weren’t rescheduled. No one else was either. I am now sitting here at her 4th appointment and we are running on 3 hours without her being seen.
People deserve to be treated with dignity, especially when they are frail and suffering from cardiac ailments. That is NOT something you will find here. The staff is rude, the doctors don’t care, and yet you have to pay upfront before you’re even allowed to go to the back and wait several hours for care. By the way, that “care” will be 5 minutes with the doctor if you’re lucky, and during that time he will rush you and be dismissive of your questions and concerns.
Another thing to note is how old and run-down everything looks in the office/patient rooms. So many big name doctors and so much money rolling in and they can’t even give you a pleasant environment in which to spend your entire day waiting?
Unfortunately the wait times for cardiologists in El Paso are ABSURD right now so we are stuck, otherwise we would have been gone 2 hours into our wait the first time. If you’re a big practice, that doesn’t mean take on so many patients that you can’t provide quality care for any of them. If you have to come here, be prepared to be treated like a dollar sign and nothing more.
