1 /5 Sage Pini: First off, he is NOT a gastroenterologist, he is a surgeon. He did a scope on me and told my wife I had ulcers, but told me in the follow-up two weeks later that I didnt. Hes not great. If you have stomach problems I would suggest going to Denton or Ardmore and seeing a real gastrointestinal Dr. Update on this review. I got the report from the endoscopy dr khaira performed. It says, ulcers, chronic gastritis, GERD, and esophagitis(sic), and other issues. So this dr couldnt even match the report to the patient he was speaking to. This has cost me an incredible amount of money and time in extra emergency room visits due to extreme pain from untreated conditions, and now I need another scope from a real dr, because the pain in my stomach is not subsiding due to his incompetence and lack of treatment for recognized, photographed, and recorded gastrointestinal conditions. Im editing this review from the er of Gainesville hospital, where I just had another CT scan because of pain in my stomach. If dr khaira wasnt incompetent, these conditions would be treated and managed by now. Unfortunately Im too poor to sue him.

1 /5 Lanie Nolan: This doctor is a joke. He sent me for numerous tests that didnt fit my symptoms $$$$ and treated me so poorly I was too traumatized to seek alternate care. All these years later Ive discovered it was a food intolerance. A doctor would have to be an absolute moron to not be able to diagnose a food intolerance when given the exact list of symptoms for food intolerance. There are many better doctors out there. Beware this one.

5 /5 Vickie Hensleigh: Dr Khaira is absolutely wonderful. He saved my lung in 1995 when my other doctor wanted to remove. Dr Khaira didnt give up and stood his ground and gave it one more try and I really appreciate the faith he had in me to be able to pull through with flying colors. The staff is sweet and it was a little difficult at first but now they treat with utmost respect and care.

1 /5 Janie Pini: He’s not a gastroenterologist. He told me after my husbands scope that he had ulcers but at the follow up (I wasn’t there), he told him he didn’t have ulcers and he should see about food allergies but he doesn’t have food allergies.

5 /5 Brandon Mitchell: I had hernia surgery on 8-2-21 by Dr Khaira in Gainesville. He was great! Bedside manner great and the surgery was great! NTMC gets a lot of negative flack and I’ve never really received anything positive when it’s come up in conversations. Well my personal experience was awesome! Everything from check-in, to the nurse (Melissa Morris) that prepped me for surgery, and the Anesthesiologists were awesome. Any question or concern I had, they had a solid answer for.
