Michelle C.: We waited a month from the date the patients pediatrician referred her to this orthopedist to be scheduled to see Dr. Vissers. We waited an hour and 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time for the doctor to see the patient, and although we were not given an explanation or apology at the time of the appointment, Dr. Vissers did take extra time to explain the patients issue to us and review the patients background. Dr. Vissers referral for orthotics took 3 business days to be submitted, but after seeing this review (which has been updated to also include the positive aspects now that my concerns have been addressed), he called me personally to explain that it only took so long because he was doing more research to make sure thats what the patient needed. When I mentioned my complaints to his staff, their only explanation was that he sees a lot of patients. However, when I mentioned it all to Dr. Vissers personally, our conversation resulted in clear explanations on his end and me feeling respected, educated, and understood. I may not recommend his staff, but Dr. Vissers does seem to genuinely care about not only his patients health but his relationship with the patients. Instead of simply dropping the patient due to this review or ignoring my comments, Dr. Vissers reached out personally to address my concerns so that he can continue to provide the care the patient needs in the best way possible.

Mark: Absolute crooks. Shall I start by saying my name is Dr Mark. It is about time Drs start standing up to crooked hospitals and their fraudulent billing. First, I said at every visit I wanted to pay cash up front and I was assured by the front desk that is all I would be paying. Sure enough 5 months later I get bills for an additional $1400+. Procedures were coded improperly, they bill 99204 which is a complex exam of at minimum 45 minutes. Absolutely nobody spent 45 minutes with me. I was in and out well before 45 minutes. They also did not perform any exams that are required of a 99204. It was probably a total of 15 minutes tops. So there is fraud case #1. Second, I did not go in for a life saving procedure, and at no point was I told additional procedures were going to be billed or performed. What ever happened to transparency? I was of sound mind to be given the choice to receive treatment. At no point was that made. I called to make them aware many times, each time I was told I’d get a call back, which I never did. In the end, the said sorry for the improper billing, lack of disclosure, and more; but they said they WILL NOT change the bill. They are completely robbing people with improper billing. I will advise ALL of my patients to avoid Baylor Scott and White and their crooked and immoral billing department and staff

Crystal Gonzalez: Never really listens well. And if you have Medicaid you better get ready to be treated unfair! They forget to call my meds in and I have to go all weekend without. Very dangerous. They really dont care!

David Bullard: Its been a week since Ive left this hospital and every day all I can do is thank GOD for how wonderful these people treated me from the time that I walked in the door till the time I was wheeled to the door by my nurse. AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I come from a big city theres no way I would have been treated like this in San Antonio Texas.. it would have been good but this was GREAT.. I encourage anybody who lives within 2 hours of this hospital if theyre not comfortable at the hospital theyre at or going to use? it is worth the drive you will not regret it.. Dr Holland and his staff was amazing thank you thank you thank you.

Terry Farr: Dr. Matli is the best. I hate he works for this rip off place. Monday 3-3-25 will be my last visit. People warned us about this place when we moved here. Recieved a bill stating i owe 25 copayment from service on 10-7-24 in the mail 2-28-25. I have my receipts. Paid 40 dollars as if seeing a specialist then was refunded 15 dollars by mail therefore leaving the 25 copayment. So i guess they want 2 payments. I can imagine all the people been ripped off by this place

Amber Gabriel: New to the area, I was easily able to make an appointment online and found several openings within a few days time. Staff were friendly, and though the clinic looked busy, I was a tally taken back early. I had a checkup and labs done all in the same day with no waiting. The doctors and nurses were skilled and efficient, but took plenty of time to talk with me and listen to my concerns. Quality care.

Mary C. Ellerd: Dr. Dirk has been my doctor for five years. She sees through my insecurities and anxiety to address the patient and person inside. I appreciate her patience with me despite my nervousness every time I see her. In some ways, she has to start over with me each visit because of my extreme distrust of medical professionals. Yet, she does it every time. I appreciate her and her staff more than they will ever know.

Nikkole Rodriguez: i have a son who is a 6m CHD Warrior, already has had 2 open heart surgeries and many more to come in the future. my son has been in the hospital in FW since the 12th of November 2024. Dad & I noticed his getting a wet cough, so we immediately took him to the ER, the Doctor listed to his breathing, asked me what medication he was taking and then said “okay, it doesn’t sound like he has pneumonia, make a follow up appointment with your PCP in a month.” we noticed that my sons cough had gotten worse that night so we loaded him up and took him to McLane in Temple where they immediately pulled us into a room, asked if we wanted to admit him for overnight observations, and ran test’s immediately. he had rhinovirus, another virus that goes hand-in-hand to rhinovirus, and an old form of Covid (not Covid-19). the fact that Dad & I asked if they wanted to run tests or admit him and they told us no is ridiculous. they care more about the inmates in this town then our kids. don’t waste your time bringing your babies here, drive the extra 20-30 minutes away for actual good care.
