1 /5 K M: Pain Management scheduled an imaging procedure. I showed up at 9 am for a 10:30 procedure, and staff thanked me for filling out the paperwork in advance. I was hoping to be seen early because I have an appointment later today, but informed staff that this was my priority because these images are holding up my Rehabilitation and Neurological heath care. I was then informed they couldnt begin my procedure until I had a driver in the waiting room. That information would have been nice to know 3 weeks ago. So, since my wife is with my daughter at her appointment, I called around. No luck. I could have my wife or the DAV there at the end of the procedure to pick me up, but that wasnt good enough. I informed them that I would sign an Against Medical Advice form, and they cancelled and rescheduled my appointment without asking me. Then, sent me an email at 10:04 with instructions for my procedure. The waiting room was full, I think they were just looking for excuses to cancel appointments. Also, Hip imaging from two weeks ago came back as "unremarkable" when the prior image by a specialist came as "unrecognizable as a hip due to excessive scar tissue and inflammation." OH, and the MRI machine was MK1. I have had probably 200 MRIs in the last 6 years, and never had an MRI is such a decrepit machine.
