Bruno Smith When you talk about a great dining experience that checks all the boxes, its just what I had. From my 1st beer, the meat cooked to perfection, and even the asparagus were spot-on. The asparagus almost stole the show. The manager stopped by and had a great chat about asparagus. The steak was divine. Gradient mid-rare, so juicy. Irish garlic mashed potatoes. Rustic like Moms. Everything really worked together so amazingly. I cleaned my plate and was very satiated. They use different woods to cook certain dishes and proteins. The seafood was so tempting. Cedar and other woods like oaks and mesquite. It smells great in there and outside, too, even more. Perfection.

DAnn Craig The food was amazing. Had a boil and probably was one of the better ones I’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth it. Queen was awesome and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Definitely recommend!!!

Iggy Rodriguez As seasoned travelers, we often search for hidden culinary gems, and our recent visit to this Lubbock steakhouse was a truly remarkable find. We were absolutely blown away! Easily one of the best out-of-town dining experiences weve ever had, every dish was incredible and surpassed our expectations. The happy hours $2 margaritas were a delightful bonus! Our server was exceptional, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and truly elevated our meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, perfectly complementing the outstanding food. We were so impressed, we seriously considered returning the very next day. We cant wait to come back on our next visit to Lubbock!

Matthew Basquez First time here. Ordered fried mushrooms as appetizer. Got small bowl of question. Small bowl was as big as most places big bowls. The steak was cooked perfectly med rare. The put mexican toppings on it, freaking delicious!! Loved everything about the place. Worth the money!!

Jonathan Milam Wow; an 8 oz. sirloin with 2 sides for $13.99?? The steak had excellent flavor too! Nice setting - the background music was pleasant (not overwhelming as some other places, lots of TV’s around… I’ll be back! Oh, and Brenda was fantastic as my server; very attentive AND helpful. Certainly an A+ experience; value, quality and care. Congrats, Aspen Creek Grill - and thank you, Brenda. :)

Nathan Hawkes First of all, this place is really really good all the way around. The atmosphere is fun and very sports centered. If you want to see a game and grab a beer, this is a great choice. They have a really large amount of seating. The staff are all ultra nice and very helpful. I never saw someone without a smile on their face. The food selection is awesome but not overwhelming. Both food and drinks hit the spot and tasted great. Honestly, it was a fun environment and food was good. I highly recommend stopping here to snag some food and watch the game.

Cecilia Ruiz Chris was our host, he was very quick and polite, amazing service, food was very tasty. I really enjoy The Grandeza Margarita. Give it a try. The fajitas and enchiladas were amazing.

Kendra Narro My friends and I love eating here! The host is very friendly and sat us immediately. There’s a wide selection of food options for everyone even picky eaters. The kitchen always makes sure that the food is correct. Never had any mistakes when ordering here. They also just put out an Oktoberfest menu. Joey stopped by our table and made sure that we were having an enjoyable experience. The waiters and waitresses are always so nice and welcoming. Will always be a favorite in Lubbock!

Enrque Lee We brought our Momma here on her 60th Birthday for dinner & everything was just perfect. We arrived to a full restaurant on a Saturday night when they have live music was really good. The staff was very accommodating as they held an ice creame birthday cake in their refrigerator until it was time for us 2 sing her Happy Birthday. Also, sensing they be packed we called ahead of time & reserved a table for party of ten helping us avoid having to wait for one which was really cool bypassing the crowd right up the second floor. They have an elevator for the handicapped which was a blessing as my momma played soccer and has bad knees. Our waiter Caine was witty, funny& damn cool. He took our order perfectly and despite the capacity the kitchen spat out Our entire 10 order in less than as many minutes (less than 10 minutes), and presentation & taste, impressive! Big Up to The Kitchen Crew. No lie, my neice ate 2 whole taco plates on her own, she is thin as a sewing pin. THEN, Caine busted out the Birthday Sombrero for Momma, she wore "Happy" Tears as she blew her candles out. She says it was her Best Birthday we had ever given her! (ME & BaBy Sister yeah that was US!) Making my night & Dining experience one I will always remember & cherish. Mitch Helwig Exceptional Service and Campfire Flavor! ​We recently visited Saltgrass Steak House for a late lunch on Black Friday, needing a boost of energy before resuming our shopping. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and truly delivered on the promise of recapturing the flavor of the open campfire. Steaks, chicken, and seafood are chargrilled to perfection, and it’s wonderful knowing their breads, soups, and desserts are all made from scratch daily. ​In addition to the excellent atmosphere, the restaurant features great TVs throughout, making it an ideal spot for catching all the action on game days. ​The highlight of our specific visit was definitely our server, Brittany. She was incredibly friendly, informative, and demonstrated outstanding professionalism. We noticed she was training a new server who was shadowing her, and her patience and kindness were exemplary. It was clear she was fostering a supportive learning environment. ​Beyond her helpfulness, Brittany was meticulously well-groomed and neat. As a fellow woman, I appreciated her professional presentation—her hair, make-up, and nails were all executed on a high, professional level. ​As for the food, our mushroom appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the fresh iced tea was crisp and refreshing. ​Overall, Saltgrass is a great restaurant. It’s obvious they have a strong team that genuinely loves their work environment, and that positive energy translates directly into a fantastic dining experience for the customer. We highly recommend stopping in!

Carlos MA The restaurant is a great experience in itself and the food was awesome. I highly recommend the green Chile chicken linguine. I personally did not like the down-n-dirty tortellini, flavor wise it was okay and spicy level was only 2/10.

Tammy Jo This was the perfect place to stop after a long day of traveling. The server was so much fun and the food was brilliant. The honey butter croissants that they offered, were so good. When they offer them, just say YES! The veggie Philly sandwich was an incredible sandwich and the prices were very reasonable.

T god One of my favorite places to visit when in town. Ive tried several different items on the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The location was not far from the hotel or work area. If you order the cheese stix heads up they are huge! Definitely recommend the mushrooms and the hamburger and cheeseburger!

Matthew garcia Visited River Smith for the first time, and had a good experience. The service was amazing, the restaurant was clean and my order was as ordered (no issues). I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was good. My husband ordered fish and he said it was great. My son said the burger was very good. This is definitely a place to stop and try when in the area.
