Andrew Danna I had a very disappointing experience with customer service. I originally purchased a bracelet as a gift from another location, but unfortunately, it was the wrong size. After contacting customer service, I was advised to order the correct size and then exchange the original at this location. However, when I arrived, I was informed that the exchange could not be processed there, despite the prior instructions. This left me in a difficult position, as I now had two bracelets and no clear solution. I became visibly upset and, in my frustration, used inappropriate language while explaining my situation. Rather than attempting to help resolve the issue, the store’s Director chose to have me escorted out by security. While I understand and take responsibility for my tone, I believe the situation could have been handled more professionally and with greater empathy.

Nevel Maitland Bought a watch there and within a year, the battery dies. I took it back to get it changed and it came back with a severely scratched and dented back plate AND the winding peg was missing. They tried to blame me for the scratches and refused acknowledge the dents. They polished the scratches, but they still exist, and they replaced the winding peg. However my watch will never be the same. If I could give them 0 stars, I certainly would.

Charles B I’ve had my Movado Classic for over 14 years—it’s been with me through a lot. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped it, and the face snapped out. I searched online for a repair or jewelry shop nearby, but couldn’t find anything convenient. I decided to head toward the mall and, on a whim, checked Google Maps again. That’s when Plano Custom Jewelers popped up—less than half a mile away. I made a quick U-turn and headed straight there. When I arrived, a couple was getting some rings resized, and a polite young gentleman greeted me right away and asked how he could help. I told him I could wait. Just two minutes later, the owner, Willie, came out from the back. I explained what happened, and he took a look at my watch. Without hesitation, he went into the back and put it back together. But that’s not all—he also cleaned the watch and made it look almost brand new again! Willie was incredibly friendly, professional, and honest. No pressure, no upselling—just great customer service. It’s rare to find a local business like this that truly cares. They also have a really nice selection of unique watches and jewelry. Newman instantly made me feel like I want to be a lifelong customer. I can’t explain it, but you have to experience this place for yourself. You have to walk in the store and talk with that staff, because Another Time and Place is an experience, not just a shop. The craftsman ship and knowledge blew my mind. Truly my new favorite store!
