The older gentleman I’m presuming owner has to be one of the rudest gentlemen I’ve had the displeasure of meeting in the coastal bend. After finishing up lunch at Hester’s next door I intended to shop for a Mother’s Day gift. I rang the bell just as the sign suggests only to be greeted with a scoff and “WHAT are you SOLICITING MA’AM” “I am not soliciting anything, I wanted to shop after lunch next door for a gift but based on your tone I no longer want to do that” gentleman: GOOD THAT IS FINE *slams door shut as I’m standing there* . This is understandable if I looked like I might be soliciting something but that was very much not the case. Leave your emotions outside of your workplace and respect your potential customers- we all have our own personal issues we are dealing with.
