1 /5 Kel Hedlund: A bad overall experience. I took 2 watches in for batteries and brought my own leather bands. I was charged $10 each just to change the bands, which I didnt mind paying. There were issues with the pins on one of my watches so, they ask to keep it a day or 2 to go to their other location and get the right pin. I said sure, I came back 2 days later and found out they shipped my watch out to Houston and didnt even call or ask my permission to do so. FYI...my Mother worked in fine jewelry for 20 yrs and I sold jewelry in my business for 20 yrs. I said it is customary and required by law that you get my permission to send any jewelry outside of this business for repairs. I used to have my clients sign that they understood this, due to insurance requirements. The jerk handed me a card and said have your lawyer contact me. I said, Im not looking to sue, I just want to know why you lied about being able to fix it and why you didnt inform me it was being shipped out. He said, if you dont have a video or recording of the incident, it didnt matter if he did lie. He also referred to me as a "white boy", I reminded him that is racial discrimination. He said he didnt care. I mean SERIOUSLY!
