I called the stylist Gaby for a quote. She said she charges anywhere from $125 to $200, depending on my hair. When I arrived she then said it would be $280 for a partial highlight. For reference, my hair is only a little past my shoulder in length. I told she I could only spend $200, per our conversation. She said okay. Then as I went to pay, she then stated that it will now be $230. I asked why and she said it’s because she didn’t mix enough product the first time. I then had no choice but to pay this amount. This is a very dishonest way of running a business and she should be ashamed of the way she runs her business.
Oh, and she never even offered to curl
or style it. I walked out with semi damp hair. I went straight home afterwards.
FYI, it’s been 2 weeks and my hair is fried! I can barely brush it. I’m almost 50 and have never had this happen to my hair.

Salon Ana Bella - McKinney Ronda Hess: Love this salon! I recently went through a cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy. All my hair fell out. When it started growing back it was a total mess. Joe worked with me to get me back to looking normal again. The color is perfect and I love the way he cuts my hair. Highly recommend this salon!

I absolutely love the vibe, and I would venture to say you Can trust every single one of their stylist to give you the best service! I go to Lacey for my extensions, and she is amazing! She has great advice as an expert in her craft. My hair isn’t even shoulder length, but Lacey customizes my extensions to make it look so natural. I moved to Fort Worth a few months ago, but this is the only McKinney service. I will make the drive for every time.

209 Salon - McKinney Michelle Kapin: Ive been coming to this salon for a few years after moving to the area and have tried a few different stylists, but once I found Matt, I knew I had to stick with him! I was nervous about getting the right cut for my bangs, but he absolutely nailed it and has made me love my hair again. My color and cut are always amazing—he listens, gives great advice, and delivers quality results every time. If youre looking for a stylist who truly knows what they’re doing, I highly recommend Matt!

I knew I wanted volume since I have fine, low density hair with loose curls, but I wasn’t sure about which hair cut. He started with a trim, then I decided to go shorter with more layers and I absolutely love it! Joe was so patient and flexible when I requested changes. This was the first time I had gone to a hair stylist and I had a great experience!
