1 /5 Melinda Keister: I had my hair appointment on August 14th with Emily, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. Emily was nice and sweet, but it quickly became clear that she didn’t have the experience needed for my situation. I’ve been using box dye to cover my gray roots and showed her a picture of what I wanted, but the result was nowhere near what I expected. It honestly felt like she was using my hair as a practice run, which is pretty upsetting.
When the balayage didn’t turn out, another lady—who might have been the owner—stepped in and told me it would take 3-4 sessions to get the result I wanted. If I had known upfront that they couldn’t get my hair to look even close to the color I wanted, I would have never gone through with the appointment.
In the end, I paid $200 and spent 3.5 hours there, just to leave with a simple trim. My hair was washed twice because they tried to redo the color, but the whole experience felt like a waste of time and money. It seemed like they cared more about making money than making sure I left happy and satisfied. This was a terrible experience, and I can’t recommend this salon, especially if you want balayage because this salon has no idea what they are doing—you will waste your money here.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
