Leann De La Houssaye Mark always does my nails and to be honest highly recommend him! Everyone at Tuscan is so sweet and does so much better than what you show them on your phone. His sister Helen also does an amazing job!

Sarah Jones when i say Tuscan Nail Spa is my favourite nail salon anywhere between Pasadena to Galveston, i mean it. i love all the nail techs here, everybody always takes amazing care of my daughter and i. i had the pleasure of having Helen do both mine and my daughter’s nails today, and she KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE BALL PARK!!! she’s done designs for us before but this was the first time she did my full set and i’m so beyond happy with it. clean, happy salon with awesome vibes and *wonderful* customer service. (also shoutout to Mark bc he is also awesome, very talented!)

Ashley Guerrero Helen did my nails. She did an amazing job!!! First time for nail art. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If your looking for a new nail place please give them a try :)

Addison Reddick I received a wonderful acrylic set from Taylor. I requested a thin French on almond and she definitely delivered. I am pretty picky with my nails, but her shaping was extremely consistent and on point. Everyone I encountered was friendly and welcoming and the space seemed relatively clean. Overall super positive experience!

sydney williams This is my go to nail salon, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I have been going here for roughly 10 years now. However today my mom and I were getting a pedicure and some of the staff was picking other staff members scalp, removing pieces of dry scalp. In front of customers. My mom and I along with the lady next to us were just grossed out. Again I do love this place but this shouldn’t be something you do in front of customers getting dry scalp all over the desks and tweezers. I am just grossed out with the way they were putting it on the desk and not being clean about it , in front of all customers. i will still be continuing to come I just feel this needs attention. Respectfully I did take a picture, but blurred the faces out for privacy.

Kaitlynn Mcmullen I prefer the location on El Dorado. Not really happy with my nails. I sat for 2 1/2 hours for a French tip full set on my nails and at the point where they asked me if I liked them I kind of just nodded my head so I could leave. Will continue to go to the one on El Dorado by HEB.

Melinda Amburn An absolutely horrible experience. Horrible manicure, painful, rushed and only had one color of dip which isn’t disclosed until after she’s taken off the prior dip/polish. My fingers hurt. A complete waste of $50!

Catherine G Very disappointed in this salon usually does pretty good, this time all was rushed, now I have to keep an eye on the toes, she did hurt me a couple of times and made me bleed, also with the wax for the feet and the stones they were so hot, I had to tell her she needed to cool them a bit more the same with the nails skipping steps in the middle of doing the nails I asked to have them trimmed down and she cut them and they were still a little long then she just went and snipped them and I told her she cut them to short she said I asked for that I said no, your on your phone and in a rush and not paying attention to what you’re doing she tried to make nails but them filed them all off, I have this air pocket in the big thumb nail and some of the others weren’t sanded correctly, I hope that they do not get infected, she also made me bleed. She said it’s much better now yes. I told her no, it was a bad job, I try do give my money to local businesses and they ruined it by rushing and not caring about the customer. I know I was not the only one that had that happened to that day the lady next to me kept saying your hurting me, I will be going back to my old salon which is a big corporation.

Juan Rodriguez Jr Simply the best. The best Pedicures, super great pedicure. Have been there many times. My girlfriend and my sister also love this place. Great manicures also.

Kaylie Ginsberg Just went to Maui Nails for the first time and I loved it! Everyone there is very nice and friendly. Kevin did an amazing job on my acrylics with the design and V did an amazing job on my toes with the Hot Stone Treatment. I will definitely be back, thank you guys!

Minal Cheema Absolutely loved my first experience here! Lovely kind staff and great nail techs! I went in to remove my old nails but ended up leaving with a brand new set that looks just like my inspo pic and I’m so obsessed! I would definitely recommend. Nail shape and manicure was point and the nail tech was a joy to talk to :)

Courtney Allen I decided to try a new place that was closer to me than my normal nail salon. After reading reviews and looking at pictures, I decided to come here. It can be scary trying new places, especially with all the horror stories you hear. Im so picky when it comes to my nails. I have long skinny fingers so super short nails look weird on me. I wanted size 6 cut ballerina/coffin chrome polished nails. It took a little while, but my nails came out amazing. Chang worked so hard to make sure I got the length, shape, and color I wanted. I wanted a very specific chrome color and thug total and error she figured out what I wanted. Lily did an amazing job on my pedicure. I got the number 4 which has the scrub, stone massage, plus some other things and also added paraffin for an extra $7. She gave me the best for rub Ive ever had. You also get a complimentary water or soda. It took about 2.5 hours and I ended up paying about $132. The prices were really good and they were so amazing. Honestly Chang and Lily made me feel so comfortable and really wanted to make sure they did a great job. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Andrea Young I absolutely love coming to Galaxy Nails and Spa. They always do exactly what I want. I always design my nails especially for holidays, and they deliver! The pedicures are also amazing! They take their time and make you feel relaxed.

Sharon Carlisle My two broke best friends (my daughters) and I absolutely love this salon! Even my husband has visited with me a few times! The nail technicians are VERY gentle and friendly. None of us have experienced cuts or burns or bruises. African American women get treated poorly regularly in these types of environments but I have never experienced that here at Galaxy Nails. I wanted to cry my first visit here because they were nice to me and smiled when I walked in. Thank you all for such phenomenal hospitality and kindness. You have a forever client! Plus my daughters and husband.

Candy Carmen did an awesome job! I’m thrilled to have found her since my other girl moved away after 22 years with her. Carmen is my new nail girl. Yeah! Her place is new and very clean, and close to where I live so positive all away around!

Kayla Castle Came in for my first set in a very long time. My nails are bumpy and in even. They tried to use 2 different colors on my nails and toes after saying they matched. I was told if I got one coat of the same color on my nails that was on my toes they would not charge me for it. (shellac color which is an up charge) they charged me 20$ plus while smiling in my face but I don’t have the heart to say anything so I just left with bad nails that cost more than what I was told. If they would have just told me I would have made a different decision but I won’t be going back after using them for over 5 years I don’t know why I kept going back. I understand needing to make money as a company but honest work isn’t their priority and it shows. Disappointed.

Kristen Perez Kelly and Ann are experts that I trust completely with my nails. Both ladies take the time to make sure my fresh set is exactly what I want.

Julie Ann Kerr The nail tech was not rude, but also not friendly. I don’t like color in my fingers, but needed them trimmed down and cleaned up. 4 nails were cut so short I am still in pain 2 days later (first and ring finger). I did enjoy most of the pedicure. The leg massage felt great. I said no hot wax, she did it anyhow (it wasn’t worth corrected once I saw the bag), and again, one nail is painfully short. I will not be back

Tina Costello Worst experience ever took 3 hours for new full set white tips cut my finger didn’t even cover the whole nail had them crooked going to side made them way to thick arguing when I brought to her attention of doing it wrong showing her the flaws didn’t make them shiny didn’t listen to me did them her way not mine wanted to take them off & start over I had already been there 3 hours told me come back tomorrow & let Jackson decide I decided never to go back

Kimmie Garrett Absolutely adore the owner Terry and Jackson is your go-to waxer! They are very detailed and careful and goes beyond for customer satisfaction. Their prices are very modest too. I will always get my nails and brows done here forever!

Caitlin Le The lash lady did my lashes so so good, she took her time making them perfect and the setting was very relaxing and calming. I recommend getting your lashes done from her, she’s very trusting and will make them exactly how you want on the spot :)

Carolyn McGee One of the worst pedicures I have ever had. Poor sloughing skills, no skills at trimming cuticles, and there was so much polish on my skin it took her 6-7 attempts to try and clean the polish from around my nails. Very disappointed and I will never return.

Rooster Word of advice dont ever go to this place unless you want your nails crooked never again will I pay for my girl to get her nails done from this place again. Now to go to some else to get them taken off my girls fingers.

Demi Ford Was here about a week ago with my 7 year old daughter. We have been coming here for years and usually they only spend 10-15 minutes on my daughter( which she is little so I never complained) but this time we had the pleasure of getting this new girl. She was younger (said she was 19) she was AMAZING! she talked to my daughter the entire time she did her pedicure and shared their interest on lilo and stitch, took her time, perfected the designs she wanted on her toes and even did the designs on her fingers even though she had never done designs on fingernails before. I unfortunately did not get her name! If you have little ones I highly recommend her!!

Diane Moran I have been pleased twice before to this salon for pedicures and mini manicures. The ladies are pleasant and there are plenty of workers. This last time, I went only to have my old polish removed and then trim my toenails. The lady took some toenail clippers out of her bucket. I had to remind the nail lady to use sterile nail clippers before clipping my toenails to avoid infection. She accommodated and also took out a new file set to file my toenails. I thought a sterile set of tools to be used was customary practice. Anyway, I was satisfied with my toenail trim and cleanup. She was a kind woman, making sure I exited safely from the chair. I like this salon. The ladies have sweet dispositions and do not do a lot of chattering among themselves either.

Emma Went there today, got a simple short square acrylic set all one color and only costed 40$. Ladies were super nice and made sure we had water and such. I’ll definitely be going back there whenever I need to get my nails done again!

Casey Gregg-Guyton I took my 90 year old vet neighbor in to get pedicure and manicure. The tech was very good with him and did a great job. It was nice and quiet as it was early in morning and a weekday which was good for 90 yoa and there was not a strong smell. One of his caregivers recommended this place as she goes there. I plan to take him back monthly and also take my hubby

Jessica Ordonez They charge 3-5$ extra if you don’t have cash. The eyebrow young lady is awesome, but the other workers are very rude. Sister wanted short oval nails and this is what she paid $43 for (below) the lady was very aggressive and kept hurting my sister’s finger after cutting a hangnail too short. If you are expecting good customer service from this salon …. Don’t! Freaking ridiculous!
