T.J. Maxx - Brownsville (TX)

2 /5 Char Fos: This is Thursday, January 14th and the registers have three people checking out and a line around the store, just like Christmas!!! That’s ridiculous. There were numerous employees around the store that needed to be checking. Many sales are lost this way. People were putting things back and leaving. Poor management.

5 /5 Enrique “Kike” Verduzco: You can find good brands good products good prices Its a store that, by its very nature of buying end-of-season clearance items from well-known brands, offers excellent deals on really good products. Its one of the best options of its kind. My recommendation is to visit a T.J. Maxx first, and then you can find whatever you need at the other stores.

1 /5 nini lovelock: Make sure to check everything before buying. Every inch. I bought a suitcase the day before having to leave state because of an incident with my other suitcase. Payed $80 just for it to not have all the promised components. No "lock" for the zipper and no "packing cube" it looks like someone TOOK those parts and they didnt even bother to give a disclaimer. Maybe this is just how TJ maxx shamelessly functions, get the scraps from brands, sell a little cheaper but youre missing half of what was promised. Maybe these big box stores can finally start hiring more people on one shift. Its not that wild of a concept considering they make millions. Lines are long even when theres over 4 cashiers but the entire store is cramped. Its more neat than other maxx stores Ive been to but not amazingly clean nor organized. Too many damaged items for none to little reduced price. The entry way inside the store has a bunch of things around so people are fighting to get through. Unfortunately the town has a lot of inconsiderate people so really, just create a better open space AT LEAST at the entry way. Why the heck cant big box stores just hire more people to make things better?!

1 /5 barbarella hilton: If I could leave a 1 star I would. Line took forever. There was an old lady with blonde hair that took forever to ring me up amd took her sweet time helping other customers beside me mind you she was ringing me up probably took like 30 minutes to ring up then she took her sweat time taking the paper out of a bag I was buying and placing it back in I was so over it because she wasnt even moving at all I would never go back again ever worst service

1 /5 Anonymous: Management here is terrible! There are 7 registers. The line wrapped to the jewelry section. There are like 7 young ladies and a manager with only 3 registers open! Very bad management just standing around talking and laughing with each other. Been in line for 15 minutes I will probably be another 10 minutes. Not visiting this establishment again!!!
