1 /5 Aya Nadeau: Really bad experience and terrible customer service. It was during the buy 1 get 2 free promotion. During this promotion everything with a yellow tag was supposed to be eligible for the promotion. However I found a longefly wallet (White Rabbit - Alice in Wonderland) Im a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland so I was very excited. Then while I was shopping the employee came to me and took the wallet and another item from me (only left me a Funko) afterwards she came back and claimed it was NOT part of the promotion and gave me a dirty look and said "A customer must have switched the price tags". I DID NOT switch anything. And then she claimed it was full price (40$ instead of 12$ as priced on the tag) and said I couldnt get it in the promotion. So I left it disappointed and then we looked online a bit after leaving the shop and suddenly it wasnt available anymore online for this store... This whole story left me a bittersweet taste. Definitely feels like the employee took it for themselves...

5 /5 Johnny Trinado: Although Hot Topic never really stays clean and organized, the customer service here was exceptional. I walked in with a coupon and we were having trouble getting it approved for my purchase. Most retailers would give up in a matter of moments, but the two girls working that day did the exact opposite and made it happen for me. Im grateful for their level of professionalism, and friendly attitudes.
