1 /5 Ramirez Family: I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Ross, but this location has unfortunately taken a step backward in terms of customer experience. Upon entering, I was told—rather abruptly—that drinks aren’t allowed in the store, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Additionally, there’s now a security guard stationed at the front who observes customers during checkout and checks receipts as they exit.
While I understand the need for loss prevention, these measures create an uncomfortable shopping atmosphere. A better approach might be to invest in additional staff and customer service training, which could both support store operations and enhance the shopping experience.
If there are specific store policies such as a “no drink” rule, posting clear signage would be far more effective and respectful to customers. I truly hope management reconsiders their approach and focuses on making the environment more inviting.
Ross, you can — and should — do better.
