I was meandering throughout the mall and decided to find a new belt. At 10 minutes before close I walked into Buckle, self-conscious about entering so late. Instead of receiving sneers, I was warmly welcomed by the employees, who showed me the belts. They were so friendly and helpful. Most my interaction was with Myriam (who was awesome!), but other employees were great too.
I bought the belt, then realized days later that the buckle (pardon the pun) was too big (aka my gut was too big ;). I had to return it, and again - Myriam and all the staff were super-friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Ive worked retail before and know it can be thankless. Ive also been to fancier establishments than Buckle and received attitude for briefly glancing 20 minutes before close. The service and kindness of the staff at Buckle was so unexpected and top-notch. I am sincerely impressed.
I really hope these individuals are getting the raises they deserve. Any establishment should be proud to have a team like this. Im not in Buckles target market, but I wish all my shopping experiences were this delightful. Thanks Myriam and crew!
