04-2025 University Medical Center of El Paso in Best 15 MD and Hospital near El Paso, TX (Part 4)Del Sol Medical Center - El Paso Edward Solomon: Staff was excellent. We arrived on time, processed promptly and entered waiting area. One and one half hours later, was informed that the surgery was running behind. I asked if would be another hour, then two hours, then three hours andā¦ā¦five hours! Absolutely nuts. Asked why they didnāt call us at home, 35 minutes drive from hospital and received no answer. My wife went home and I remained on a gurney for three more hours. Finally taken in to surgery some 6 hours later! Thankfully procedure went well. Sent to a private room several hours later, staff very nice. Next morning waited until 10:00 for breakfast that was not ordered. Next interviewed by all appropriate staff and waited two hours to get hospital doctors orders to leave, finally my nurse helped me dress, remove IV and took me downstairs to process out. Finally left at 12:30.
Las Palmas Medical Center - El Paso Patsy Cazares: Today I went to the radiology department and I was very pleased with their service. I had some x-rays done and the young lady by the name of Zaria was my attendant, what an amazing young lady she was very attentive and very patient. The entire staff was amazing and I know where they get it from, this evening. I received a phone call from their supervisor Ms Maria And I understand now why the staff is the way they are, they have an awesome leader, totally pleased. With the service and with the staff
The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus - El Paso Andrea Caldera: Delivered my baby girl on Jan 6, 25 and I had the best delivery experience. The nurses were fantastic, very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. Labor and delivery, and post care was relaxing , the room was beautiful overlooking the mountains. Would totally recommend delivering at Providence Transmountain. I live off Hunter, but the drive there and back was what I needed to mentally prepare my thoughts.
El Paso Childrenās Hospital - El Paso Clarissa Hernandez: I wish I could give this place more stars. Unfortunately, I cannot. Our experience was more than awful. We were treated very poorly. Everyone was very rude. Everyone acted like we were nonexistent. I wonāt lie. I did have a nurse who was very kind when she was putting the IV on my daughter. I got here to the hospital around 2:30 and I have been sitting here in the hallway because they are no rooms and it is now 8 PM. The doctors are not the kindest either⦠Literally the worst hospital Iāve been in El Paso and I have lived here my whole life. I brought my two-year-old in and it has been the worst Experience⦠Please, if there is any Mom ās and Dadās out there, do not bring your child here. Also it was disgustingly dirty. Iām so disappointed. Disgusted
Kindred Hospital El Paso - El Paso Tessie Baez: After a couple month of recovery. It will be a year in March. I have decided to review this place because it ruins my view on Scenic Drive.
This place frankly discusses me. I was transferred from East Providence to Kindred to proceed with rehab this place is a joke. I was never given rehab until the moment I requested a transfer out.
Dr Aloraby was careless and the biggest jokester as I couldnāt move and he thought a fits pump was the proper way to say hi to me.
initially, when transferred I was left in the room for over hours before anyone attended to my needs. That same night I immediately came down with a UTI after the catheter was removed and replaced with a pure wick. I was told it would take over 24 hours to receive anything. Just left in the room with the door closed running a fever all night. Next morning nothing until 11ish. And that is only because I had to start whistle for attention and at this point staff found it hilarious because they thought I was a bird.
At the same time it hurts me to leave a bad review because I can remember 3 top RN and maybe like 4 good MAās. However since they wouldnāt ever keep a steady rotation itās hard to recognize those individuals!
Some people have no busy in the healthcare system sadly to say!!!!
This place will only treat you okay with eyes over them like a hawk. If youāre a sole independent person with no one to care or watch over you. I would say RUN LOOK else where! And if you do happen to leave your loved one! I would definitely not recommend this place unsupervised.
Also hateād how all day I was alone until I started getting visitors they would come in every minute or so like if they were taking care of my visitors.
Primary Care El Paso - El Paso Alan Cohan: I dont like to leave bad reviews as I work for a Dr. Office as well. However, I felt as if everyone should be aware of the risks seeing this office. I went in for an annual physical and brought up a concern about my spine, which can 100% be billed under the yearly well visit. My insurance was billed for a physical and office visit 99214 (high to moderate complexity visit). Despite disagreeing with this, I paid it and went to go get my yearly bloodwork. My yearly bloodwork was incorrectly billed for preventative care according to my insurance. When I called the insurance they mentioned that if they had simply billed certain test codes differently it would have been covered. One example was sending "insulin" to be tested for as opposed to the correct corresponding code. I was nice and polite to the office asking them to resubmit the codes to quest, but clearly that did not work as it was billed the same, resulting in the whole blood pannel being charged towards my yearly deductible. They do not view you as a fellow human, rather as a money plant that they only have to water once (before the first office visit). Ive had my yearly checkups done at other offices and NEVER had to pay anything out of pocket as they were billed correctly and I have a good insurance plan that covers yearly preventative bloodwork. Everyone should steer clear of this office. I only switched because it was near to me - huge mistake. The owner will reply with the same response theyve used for all the other bad reviews - clearly they do not care about how they patients are being treated. If you have any doubts, read the other 1 star reviews given for the exact same reasons. I also was forced to schedule a follow up visit before leaving, which I politely declined. I was told that it was mandatory for checkout - whatever, I called to cancel it the next day. Then a few weeks later I get a voicemail to confirm my appointment for a follow up which I did not set up - so I called to cancel it again. Money hungry scammers? Incompetent staff/billers? Perhaps a combination of both? I recommend you dont try and find out for yourself.
The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus - El Paso Maria Martha Carrillo: We were seen and treated by L. Torres, a PA. He was friendly and professional, answering any of our questions and putting us at ease. My kids donāt really being in hospital/medical settings but he was able to keep them calm and happy. I was impressed with his bedside manner and approachability.
Doctores Para Ti - El Paso Vivian Amalaonye Monye: Outstanding Care ā A Smooth and Supportive Birthing Experience
My experience with Doctores Parati and their team was exceptional from start to finish. Even before I arrived in the country, they provided clear and detailed communication via email, including a thorough breakdown of costs and what to expect. Their transparency and professionalism immediately gave me confidence in their care.
At my first in-person appointment, they made me feel welcome and reassured. They guided me through every step of my pregnancy, offering excellent recommendationsāincluding a list of hospitals to choose from, one of which I selected for my delivery. Their expertise and continuous support ensured I felt informed and empowered throughout my journey.
When it was time for delivery, Dr. L. Maria was simply incredible. Her calm and skilled approach made the entire process smoother than I could have imagined. The hospital experience was also fantastic, thanks to their well-informed recommendation.
I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received and highly recommend their OB/GYN services. They truly made my first birthing experience a positive and memorable one!
Premier Specialty Hospital of El Paso - El Paso David Cox: My mother was involved in a very serious vehicle accident. She spent weeks in the emergency room and I was surprised she was being released in the condition she was in. She had a trachea, feeding tube, catheter and neck brace. She was not mobile at all. I was given the option of 3 long term acute health care hospitals. I visited another one first and I was not impressed. The second one I visited was Premiere. I was pleasantly surprised right away. The hospital was very clean, smelled good and the staff was very friendly. I met the Case Manager Brenda and she gave me a tour of the facility. I was happy to know that on this tour the person showing me around was actually going to be a person that was going to be caring for mom. After meeting with Brenda I was not interested in seeing the third hospital. I am incredibly grateful for the all the caregivers that helped mom. Mom had nothing but nice things to say about everyone! Me personally, I would like to give an honorable mention to Brenda the Case Manager and to Norma the Respiratory Therapist whom also double as part of the administration. Saying āThank youā just isnāt enough for what theyāve done for us! For what itās worth, Thank you!
