Electric clippers, in particular, are usually a major hurdle. But our experience at Tune Up: The Manly Salon was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to Veronica. From the moment we arrived, Veronica’s professionalism and experience were evident. She managed to keep my son calm and still—a task that has been nearly impossible at other salons. What truly amazed me was how she used clippers set to #1 without him even flinching! That’s a huge win for us. What impressed me the most was her approach. Instead of leaving the most difficult part of the haircut for last, she tackled it right away. This thoughtful strategy worked perfectly, as my son tends to get anxious and restless after just a few minutes. By the time his attention started to wane, the hardest part was already done, and she only had the top to finish. The added touch of offering a free drink is also a great perk. While I don’t drink, it’s nice to grab a refreshment and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Veronica for anyone, especially parents of kids with sensory sensitivities. Her expertise and understanding made all the difference!

5 /5 Nicolas Mackenzie: Hope is super cool and a great conversationalist who makes amazing drinks. Her music choices are perfect and there’s never a wait. Sandra did a wonderful job with my beard trim and haircut, she listens to all the details I’m looking for and always delivers. If you’re looking for a the best haircut and you’re in the area I would definitely recommend the top tier sister duo (Esperanza and Sandra) their patience is unmatched! Love the vibe at this location.

5 /5 Herbert Serpas: Amazing Staff and great haircuts. I’ve been a member for more than a year and I can tell you the membership is worth it . The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They take your ideas into consideration for Your hairstylist and it’s also kid friendly . The bar is a great perk and you can spend more than one hour with great conversations tunes and sports . Highly recommended!

5 /5 Shon Prejean: I had a great experience at The Tune Up! Check-in was super easy, and they even offered me a drink while I waited, which was a nice touch. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, my haircut and beard trim came out looking fantastic. They took their time, paid attention to the details, and really cleaned up my beard exactly how I wanted. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
