1 /5 Jason Lawson: Do NOT buy hair from this company! The hair is so bottom of the barrel that you can find better hair from Amazon. I spent almost $500 for 3 bundles, thinking I was getting GOOD hair and omg, the hair I got was complete TRASH! I was advised that I should try to get the hair professionally washed, however nothing worked. I then mailed the hair back after texting the owner multiple times, sending pics, etc…. I just came to the realization that the hair was completely worthless. I then advised my bank that I was scammed because I didn’t purchase what was advertised, which was quality hair and I let them know the hair was returned. The owner is so hard up for a coin, that she disputed my request for a refund even though she got her chop shop hair back. I guess that was just another donation I was forced to make, to the less fortunate, because not only did she got her cheap chop shop hair back, but she also got $500 of my money. Please BEWARE before buying any hair from this place!!!!

1 /5 T Landry: Joy, I did NOT damage your hair, the hair was of horrible quality when brought!!!!! Let’s be honest, you continued to offer remedies on how to salvage the hair when this shouldn’t have had to be done!!!! When the hair is good, the hair is good! I brought RAW hair directly from a vendor, for the same price that you charged and I haven’t had one problem!!! It’s AMAZING quality! The hair has been bleached and everything and the it is still AMAZING!!! So kill it with the excuse of someone damaged your hair!!! Furthermore, I blocked YOU (JOY) because instead of saying what a reputable company would say, which is please return the hair and let me make this right….you continued to come up with remedies to repair the hair! Like who does that? And you know damn well you didn’t refund my money!!! So please STOP lying to the internet! You received your hair back and you kept my money!!!

They take their time but not all day, and handle your head with care in the most effective way to deliver your style exactly how you want it in pristine condition! Guys if you need cornrows book with Amber !!

They(the stylist) seem to have a great working relationship which overall works for a cohesive work environment. Great job Joyce and her team at Hair Tyme Beauty Lounge!!! China Clutch was my stylist and she also received some assistance from another awesome stylist, Lexi. They both were very knowledgeable and confident in themselves or their ability to ensure a satisfied customer most importantly. I received a sew in from the salon’s Treasure Box special. It is relatively comfortable. I haven’t experienced any tugging of any sorts on my edges nor nape (back hairline) area. I will definitely be a returning customer!! Go by and see what’s in store for you at Hair Tyme Beauty Lounge with Joyce and her amazing staff!! Checkout their Treasure Box deals too while supplies last!!! 2 MONTH REVIEW UPDATE….as a licensed stylist myself I understand paying homage where it’s due and the best advertisement is walking clientele!! With that being said, I’m at the 2month mark of my install and COUNTING!! Throughout my wearing of it over the past 2 months, I have absolutely no complaints!! I have not had any issues with any of my threads coming loose, still no tugging of any sorts and today I went in for a shampoo and closure maintenance with Chyna!! As before, she was amazing but yall, when I say she out did herself with this closure…..SHE DID EXACTLY THAT!!! My curls have dropped a bit on this humid day so I’m only uploading a photo of the closure for now!

Also had my hair cut and blow-dried by Regina and, oh man, left feeling 10 years younger. I was a bit shocked by the price, but after 4 hours, all over color, highlights, corrective color, shampoo, cut and blow dry... it was well worth it. The salon is so nice and I loved the separate spaces all the stylist had. Thank you so much!

She was extremely attentive to hearing my thoughts on what haircut I wanted. Throughout cutting my hair she asked me if the length was good and if I liked the shape. She explain to me what kind of length would suit me. She got another appointment while I was there; still she didn’t rush my haircut and assured the other person she would take care of him. I was worried she would rush it and cut it wrong but she took her time to satisfy me. I would go back to her. Haircut and blow dry was $65 as I had long hair.

The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of, always offering helpful solutions with a smile. What really stood out to me is how welcoming and kind the fellow studio neighbors are there’s a real sense of community here. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Jeena Philip: Hair came out great. My stylist was patient, kind and listened to what I wanted. I have gone to dry bar a few times. This time I was disappointed with the lack of using all the good products. I like when they use the WOW product and the liquid glass sealant serum for all the flyaways and baby hairs. They did not use either this time so all my baby hairs were sticking up. Usually my hair will last me a few days. My hair did come down by the end of the night unfortunately. Regardless my hair still looked great even at the end, unfortunately, just different from the initial. I did receive compliments throughout the day at the wedding I attended.

Kimberly Gullick: Sherrie is the best color specialist/stylist I have ever been to. Not only is she very experienced, she is also very knowledgeable about hair and products. I saw her for many years when she was in the galleria area. She moved away for close to 8 years, and I am so happy she is back. I am a natural redhead, and it is super hard to find lighter colors that compliment my natural color. It always ends up too light and I end up looking washed out, but not with Sherrie! She makes it beautiful every time. She is the only person I have ever been to that I have give free rein to do what they think is best for my hair. That goes for the color, and the cut. That speaks volumes. She is AMAZING! I highly recommend her! You will not be disappointed! The pictures dont do it justice. Thank you Sherrie, you are the best!!
