Trinity Overlook Park - Dallas (TX)

5 /5 Catheleen Omnes: First time coming here to see the fireworks gosh I really love the view and it gets pack over here to see the fireworks. Highly recommended to come here if you like see the view of downtown!

5 /5 Jonathan Young: The Trinity Overlook serves as a neighbor "pocket park" providing access to the Dallas Floodway and the Trinity Skyline Trail. The Overlook has parking spaces for twelve, views of downtown Dallas and of the Margaret McDermott Bridge to the south. Residents of the nearby neighborhoods and business districts can enjoy this special place for hiking, biking, picnics, photography, and casual family outings such as on July 4th.

3 /5 John Ito: A great pit stop before entering the main thoroughfare of Dallas. Definitely worth a short visit or perhaps a pause in a trip to take in the view of the city and its bridges. The area seems to be under renovation with nearby apartments being built, so this might be a more welcoming area with permanent local residents in the future. 1-hour parking is enough to check out the river walk and walk on the bridge. The parking lot had some broken glass, trash and drivers who sped through the lot to get to the main road, so I chose to park there for a short 10 minute run rather than parking for the full hour.

5 /5 Piet: Very scenic spot to see Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the city skyline during sunset. Parking is limited, but free for a time limit. You can get some good exercise walking around the walkway. FYI there are no nearby restrooms.

4 /5 John Yong: The view is inspiring with open space and skyscrapers in a distance. The location is between two major bridges and there are bike paths and jogging track along Trinity River. Limited parking is available. Be watchful for the unexpected turn from the major road.
