5 /5 Lizzie Party: Nice green space to relax in, the tall buildings surrounding it provide a lot of shade. I watched the 2024 total eclipse here in totality and it was awesome! Take advantage of whenever there are public events, as there was great ambience for the solar event. DowntownDallas is always hosting free events here. Dog-friendly!

5 /5 Adam Abrahamson: Its a nice open space in a sea of buildings. The open space was quite nice, and Im glad they have it. The kids park was also well maintained and offers a lot of climbing/obstacle course style of things to do. Very dog friendly and has cleanup and disposal options all around.

5 /5 R4F4: What to say about Main Street Garden Park? Its a beautiful park in downtown Dallas. It has a foosball and ping-pong table, seating area right next to a childrens playground, which has structures for several age groups, there is also music playing (the little mermaid was on when we visited.) It has a nice and ample grass area to play sports and shaded benches around it to sit down and relax. I highly recommend it!

4 /5 Sam Towns: The park was conveniently located to our hotel, Residence Inn, so we came a couple times while in Dallas for the weekend. Our first impression was half of it was under construction making it hard to figure out how to get in. Once we walked around to an opening, there were homeless people everywhere just laying around or sitting and staring. So that made it a bit uncomfortable. The playground was nice for our kids to enjoy while we killed time, and the tree landscaping is well done and mature. It took me awhile to figure out where the classical music was coming from and realized it was in the park. A nice little touch. Overall I think itd be nice to see it on a good day because we probably caught it on an off day. But I can appreciate it for what it might usually be.

Sari: An interesting place—better for children than visiting the museum next door. On the street where JFK was assassinated, there is a white cross marking the exact spot. There are several memorial plaques and a tour with different viewpoints. Some people visit the site, and it has a quiet atmosphere. There are also individuals with stands explaining that the assassination was an execution planned by the government at the time, it was an inside job.

Teddy Bear Statues in Lakeside Park - Dallas

Alfred Sanchez: The was nice, a small lake, a bridge, a short and narrow concrete trail, and 3 or 4 teddy bears. It was quaint and beautiful, but it was a lot smaller than it was made out to be and was not worth the hour drive to see it. However, it is a very nice area, beautiful Lakeside Park, and gorgeous houses in the area. So, if you are in the area, please stop by, but you should not make it the only reason to be in the area.

Fred Spencer: I went in the morning and enjoy the scenery saw several wild hogs, brids, even a small bobcat. Dallas workers clean and trash and mow the grass. The view and moments you spend at the bridge make it well worth the hike. This trail leads into more trails so distance is not a worry. Primarily well pave concrete so different wheels can make the trip. Well shaded on most parts this trial has more evening shade but know your surroundings it is #thewildD

VisitDallas Mural - Dallas

Islam Tasnim Ara: If you are visiting Dallas, do not miss the opportunity to take a photo with the VisitDallas Mural. It is located in the beautifully artistic Deep Ellum area. It is created by mural painters Tex & Sergio. This incredible mural features some of the most well-known spots in Dallas - Reunion Tower, Pegasus at the Omni, Traveling Man, Giant Eyeball, Margaret McDermott Bridge, and Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The mural is just in front of a parking lot, so you dont have to think about parking. The only cons is there are parking spaces with the mural and if someone parks there, it can ruin your photo. We were lucky since nobody parked there.
