Others Near Dallas,TX
Big Tex - Dallas Chris Wagner: Heās big and he seems very popular. Was packed with people getting selfies with him.
Lake Cliff Park - Dallas Seyyed Ali Ayati: This place is so peaceful that believe it or not, I took a nap there. You can also take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery there.
The Grassy Knoll - Dallas Sari: An interesting placeābetter for children than visiting the museum next door. On the street where JFK was assassinated, there is a white cross marking the exact spot. There are several memorial plaques and a tour with different viewpoints. Some people visit the site, and it has a quiet atmosphere. There are also individuals with stands explaining that the assassination was an execution planned by the government at the time, it was an inside job.
Exposition Plaza - Dallas Anthony Magallanes: Still need to watch for homeless people but itās beautiful for picture taking sessions.
Teddy Bear Statues in Lakeside Park - Dallas Alfred Sanchez: The was nice, a small lake, a bridge, a short and narrow concrete trail, and 3 or 4 teddy bears. It was quaint and beautiful, but it was a lot smaller than it was made out to be and was not worth the hour drive to see it. However, it is a very nice area, beautiful Lakeside Park, and gorgeous houses in the area. So, if you are in the area, please stop by, but you should not make it the only reason to be in the area.
Babyfoot Sculpture - Alyssa Dequeant: Not a fan. Talented sculptor, terrible aesthetic in the final product.
BEST DFW TOURS - Dallas Michelle labosky: The Bus Tour was great! We traveled from the Gaylord Hotel to Fort Worth Texas.
Helen was friendly, helpful, and funny.
Good times!
If you are planning a bus tour, this is the one to take! Thank you!
Dallas Bowler Hat - Dallas Nate Chertack: Why is there a random giant bowler hat on the outskirts of downtown Dallas? Who knows, but its here. See it for yourself, theres a spot to pull in nearby and snap some photos. Enjoy!
McCommas Bluff - Dallas County Nature Preserve - Dallas Fred Spencer: I went in the morning and enjoy the scenery saw several wild hogs, brids, even a small bobcat. Dallas workers clean and trash and mow the grass. The view and moments you spend at the bridge make it well worth the hike. This trail leads into more trails so distance is not a worry. Primarily well pave concrete so different wheels can make the trip. Well shaded on most parts this trial has more evening shade but know your surroundings it is #thewildD
