This is a great place to practice reflection and gratitude while enjoying the art installations, water features and chapel. The water features dull the surrounding city noises and the chapel is a must-see with its beautiful spiral ceiling and stained glass windows. Its worth a visit if youre in the area.

5 /5 Samm James: This park has a beautiful fountain, murals, mosaic art, Ring of Thanks and the stunning Chapel of Thanksgiving. Entrance is free. The fountain dampens the noise of the city and the chapel has a Glory Window that is a stained glass masterpiece inside a spiral structure. This is a small but beautiful place to take a walk, take photos and be grateful for the many things life offers each of us.

Perfect for kids and adults who want to step out into nature. The butterfly garden is beautiful and well kept. Childrens Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park - Dallas

Charddae Hopkins: The Children loved this attraction!!! This place and the Attendants/employees were super nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! Thanks to Omar for excellent customer service!!! We had the last slot for 3pm for the Sea horse party package on 1/25/25 and as a parent and a customer I am totally for this fun family and educational experience!!! This is a must see attraction and please book a party room as I did, you wont be disappointed!!! Very cool place for the entire family!!! They offer two party packages Sea Horse party package and, or the Stingray party package $250/$400!!!

Nasher Sculpture Center - Dallas

Sophie Crash: The lovely Nasher Sculpture Center in the Dallas Arts District hosts their “Til Midnight” event once a month between March and October. It’s free entry to the gallery and the sculpture center, live music, and a family-friendly movie. The museum usually closes at 5. I have been dozens of times and seen a lot of cool stuff here. The gallery always rotates so there is something new to see! The docents are very nice!

Dealey Plaza - Dallas

Shelly Maye: Very cool area. The history with a mix of post-war and modern architecture so close together makes for some very interesting photos. There is so much to do in the area. Save a few dollars and go online to buy tickets for the attractions. All day parking for under $15 is across the street from the Holocaust museum.

JFK Discovery Tour - Dallas

Jennifer Sands: My daughter and I participated in the self guided tour and thought it was excellent! It went at a great pace with the perfect amount of walking. The narrator was descriptive and I could tell was passionate about this event. I really enjoyed the flashbacks of the audio from back when those events happened having not been born yet. We are so glad to have done the self guided tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas.

African American Museum of Dallas - Dallas

Wolfgang Szutie: An excellent history of Afro Americans in the Dallas area! They did have some wonderful folk art pieces! When I visited in the morning it was a little warm touring the exhibits in the museum - but well worth a visit in looking at the Texas State Fair area!

Trammell Crow Park - Dallas

Anjelica Achterhof: My favorite park in Dallas! It’s fun to skateboard, longboard, roller skate, or walk around. I see people on bikes too. Amazing at sunset and you get incredible views of the Dallas skyline. Keep in mind they do close the park after heavy rain because it does flood.

Frontiers of Flight Museum - Dallas

Fabian Campolla: This was one of the most fascinating museums I’ve ever experienced. There is a vast majority of fields, eras, and aircraft displayed. Being someone who’s worked in aviation for 15 years now, I enjoyed learning about all things aeronautical in times past, however, I believe anyone would appreciate the wealth of history here. It’s very difficult to express the enjoyment one could have at this museum. Now, what are you waiting for? Go visit.

Civic Garden - Dallas

Bruce K.: A pretty green space in downtown Dallas though it seems to have been captured by a few of the residentially challenged folks. They didnt bother me, I didnt bother them. A nice buffer and some of the grass could be better roped off as it seems like people like to walk on the same spots over and over. The Water Fountain looked very pretty and the rules area clear. Can I wonder why they have a "changing diapers" prohibition? Did that happen often enough that it necessitated a sign? Wait, I know people are horrible. Nevermind.
