Perfect for kids and adults who want to step out into nature. The butterfly garden is beautiful and well kept. The garden itself is huge and has beautiful variety of trails to walk.10/10 experience !!

5 /5 Anisa Clay: I visited for the first time yesterday and was a little underwhelmed with my experience. I decided to swing back through the butterfly house before leaving, and I met Garrison. He totally turned my experience into a great one! He was extremely knowledgeable on the insects, friendly, and an excellent conversationalist. He went above and beyond for me and it really made me feel special and turned my visit into a memorable one. He even taught me some really cool facts about the butterflies and moths! I will definitely be returning.

5 /5 Elijah Mabli: This place is absolutely fantastic for anybody who wants to explore a little bit of nature and learn a little bit about some cute and not so cute creatures. The butterfly gardens are pretty awesome although when I went, I believe that they were mostly asleep. They are everywhere and you enter through the top floor into their habitat and then circle around a bridge until you get to the bottom floor. You can interact with the butterflies just be careful not to hurt them. They also have other species of animals. You can also host events there and their outdoor space is quite gorgeous to walk-through. Highly recommend you go there with kids! Maybe on a date. Definitely host your event there if you can.

5 /5 J K: We went to see the TDG Festival of Lights on Saturday evening, it was quiet making this very intimate experience. We were expecting crowds, still the organization was great. The lights and overall setup were really good, we were lucky with the weather as it was nice and warm already on Feb 1st. Would definitely recommend!

Dealey Plaza - Dallas

Shelly Maye: Very cool area. The history with a mix of post-war and modern architecture so close together makes for some very interesting photos. There is so much to do in the area. Save a few dollars and go online to buy tickets for the attractions. All day parking for under $15 is across the street from the Holocaust museum.

JFK Discovery Tour - Dallas

Jennifer Sands: My daughter and I participated in the self guided tour and thought it was excellent! It went at a great pace with the perfect amount of walking. The narrator was descriptive and I could tell was passionate about this event. I really enjoyed the flashbacks of the audio from back when those events happened having not been born yet. We are so glad to have done the self guided tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas.

African American Museum of Dallas - Dallas

Wolfgang Szutie: An excellent history of Afro Americans in the Dallas area! They did have some wonderful folk art pieces! When I visited in the morning it was a little warm touring the exhibits in the museum - but well worth a visit in looking at the Texas State Fair area!

Trammell Crow Park - Dallas

Anjelica Achterhof: My favorite park in Dallas! It’s fun to skateboard, longboard, roller skate, or walk around. I see people on bikes too. Amazing at sunset and you get incredible views of the Dallas skyline. Keep in mind they do close the park after heavy rain because it does flood.

Frontiers of Flight Museum - Dallas

Fabian Campolla: This was one of the most fascinating museums I’ve ever experienced. There is a vast majority of fields, eras, and aircraft displayed. Being someone who’s worked in aviation for 15 years now, I enjoyed learning about all things aeronautical in times past, however, I believe anyone would appreciate the wealth of history here. It’s very difficult to express the enjoyment one could have at this museum. Now, what are you waiting for? Go visit.

Civic Garden - Dallas

Bruce K.: A pretty green space in downtown Dallas though it seems to have been captured by a few of the residentially challenged folks. They didnt bother me, I didnt bother them. A nice buffer and some of the grass could be better roped off as it seems like people like to walk on the same spots over and over. The Water Fountain looked very pretty and the rules area clear. Can I wonder why they have a "changing diapers" prohibition? Did that happen often enough that it necessitated a sign? Wait, I know people are horrible. Nevermind.

Dallas Arboretum - Dallas

Melissa Huynh: We spent about 3 hours at the Dallas Arboretum and had a lovely time. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the grounds were clean and peaceful. What I loved the most was the little rose garden with the arbors. It was especially charming and made for a perfect photo spot. Overall a great place to stroll and unwind.

Bachman Lake Park - Dallas

Animesh D: Nice trail surrounding the lake and enjoying the southwest descending flights. The parking area is clean and has ample spaces. The area is mostly having Hispanic crowd. The lake is very soothing and sunset is awesome. The walking trail loop is long and closed at certain points. There’s a children play area nearby. The area is little noisy because of the nearby love field airport.

White Rock Lake Park - Dallas

Dewan Mahmud Raihan: I had a wonderful leisure time with my family and my bike. I couldnt believe I hadnt visited this lake park before, especially since its almost in the center of Dallas. It was soothing to see so many people fishing in the designated fishing area, bikers riding in the biking zone, and kids playing with their parents. It was an amazing experience! :)

Crow Museum of Asian Art of The University of Texas at Dallas - Dallas

Nicole Parker: Came here on a late weekday afternoon & it was a very pleasant experience. The building the museum is held in is quite charming. There was no wait. No crowd. Museum is on the smaller side. 3 floors showcasing beautiful Japanese artifacts—a couple of textiles but mostly stonework/pottery. The museum was FREE but donations are welcome. A parking garage is available for $5/hour during the week.
