5 /5 Jonathan Scott: I’m leaving this review because Dr. Booker and his front desk staff and nurse deserve 10+ stars. I was in a lot of pain and could not sit, stand, or lay down without almost being in tears. Every time I’d exit my car, I almost broke down because my behind hurt so much. Two trips to two different E.R’s nobody had an answer and referred me to a G.I clinic here in town. I couldn’t wait so I walked into that G.I clinic and was told they were booked until mid November. (It’s October 9th at the time). Couldn’t wait. The pain was unbearable and I’ve had a hemorrhoidectomy before several years ago. (This issue wasn’t a hemorrhoid).
I was told by that clinic to go to Texarkana Emergency Center to try to get a referral to a Colorectal Surgeon and I did. I walked in with tears and same thing was told to me “I don’t see or feel anything. Let me find you a surgeon”. Dr. Bookers name was on a sheet of paper they gave me and I went straight over to their clinic begging for help and the front desk staff made it happen. Same day appointment, and then three hours later Dr. Booker had me scheduled for surgery within 24 hours as he immediately found out what was wrong. Thank you to everyone there for helping me and getting my issue fixed. It’s not even been 24 hours after surgery and the pain is at a 2 from a 15. Great bedside manners, and listened to me and was very empathetic with my pain. This is the place to go when it comes to your behind. There is no shame as we are all human beings.
