5 /5 Irma Gonzalez: Great place to come and relax with nature!
5 /5 Daniel Temboonkiat: Loved the easy and multiple access points to the river the cleanliness of the river stunned us to the point to where we had to roll up our pant legs and experience a Lil touch for ourselves! Will be back with the whole family to picnic and enjoy some river fun!!!
5 /5 miriam calzada: There used to be a waterfall here and it was nice to swim. Now is just a pond (looks nice) but the swimming is now at the river...which is also nice. There is a shallow area. Very nice area to swim, get in the kayak, play with dogs, kiddos.
We enjoyed it.
5 /5 Joe Hernandez: Great Park, kayakers pass by here and parking is a little tough.
5 /5 ROBERT MANGEL: Beautiful and quiet area along the river. The soothing sounds of trickling water& chirping birds made my visit to this underdeveloped park area along the river very memorable. Seeing the area with 1996 Kayaking Olympian Ben & my buddy Brad made this excursion very special. The gravel beach along the river & the passing kayakers were a fun change to the calm & beauty of the river.
Shannon Toy: Great place to swim by yourself in peace, clear clear water. Sometimes you’ll see deer in the park or You might also catch someone on high wire. When you’re driving down Riverside, you might catch a glimpse at this art by a local artist, beauty out of trash.
Christian Gladwell: Visiting The Meadows Center was an unforgettable experience! The glass-bottom boat tour offered stunning views of the crystal-clear springs and fascinating underwater life. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing rich history and environmental insights that made the trip even more engaging. The walking trails and exhibits were peaceful and educational, perfect for families or nature lovers. The center’s commitment to conservation is truly inspiring. It’s a hidden gem in Texas that combines beauty, learning, and fun in one amazing spot. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—this place is a must-see treasure
Caiter Tot: I love the sunny paths, all the families and dogs playing, and of course the river. Only down side is the cyclists zooming around corners and having to dodge them.
Courtney Hughes: This place needs some attention. Much of the equipment has been damaged and removed, but not replaced in over a year. There should really be some security at night to keep the teenagers from destroying it further. Very disappointing. We have to go to Kyle or Newbraunfels to use their playgrounds. Just sad. San Marcos can do better.
Morghan Townsend: I liked this place, but I can’t really explain why. It’s so random. The parking was hard to find. There weren’t really trails, just some tire tracks people followed. It seemed like only the Texas State students that live in the apartments right by it visit this place. There was litter all over the place. But it was wild and green! We took our dog, and it was pretty much free range for large dogs. All of them were off leash- which I love
