2 /5 Courtney Hughes: This place needs some attention. Much of the equipment has been damaged and removed, but not replaced in over a year. There should really be some security at night to keep the teenagers from destroying it further. Very disappointing. We have to go to Kyle or Newbraunfels to use their playgrounds. Just sad. San Marcos can do better.

5 /5 Ariana Longoria: CON: Only 20 parking spots available or else there is street parking up the road about a 7-10 min walk but usually nothing left up there. It was just my 2 yr old and I do I waited 17 minutes for a parking spot in front of the park which was definitely worth it because it was super hot that day and no street parking available due to a baseball game next door. PRO: Other than that, I love it here and I remember coming here before the remodel when I was little. I love the update but somewhat miss the old playscape. CON: Only thing I don’t like is when the big kids run into the under 5 year at old area and have the audacity to try and kick a 2 year old down the slide because they’re playing tag and are impatient. Parents need to control their kids.

5 /5 Sarah Ashworth: We love this playground! Its not a sit and watch playground though. Be ready to follow them around as its a large area with a ton of hiding spots. We usually spend about 2 hours here before they get tired. Sometimes we will eat lunch and read some books under the trees ir picnic tables and theyll want to play longer. The walking trails are fun to but near water.

5 /5 Bayan R: Very cute park. Secure park with only one entrance and exit so you don’t have worry about kiddos escaping out of a hidden gate. I like that it has the play areas broken up by age group so big kids can play without worrying they will trip over a toddler. The double swing idea for parent and baby on the toddler side is ingenious! The park looked so fun I had to join in with my kids! Only bummer is the zip lines were not usable because the handles were missing and the toilets were disgusting.
