5 /5 Divya Tatiraju: Our group thoroughly enjoyed the Glass-bottom boat tour at the Meadows center. Our tour guide Olivia was excellent and in the 30 mins we had for the tour, we learned so much about the habitat and some of the history behind it. While on the boat, you can see depths ranging from a few feet, and all the way till the deepest part which is 27 feet. The water is crystal clear and you can see many fish and turtles. You can also see cormorants and herons at the banks and turtles sunning themselves. The boardwalk walk was also great, and we spotted many large bass fish and gar. Overall, a must-see while in San Marcos. If youre going as a large group, consider the private tour.

5 /5 Trent Conley: Great experience. Buy tickets from Groupon to save money. The water is crystal clear! Also, there is a small free aquarium next to this which is also great to take the kids to.

3 /5 Lily White: I am trying to figure out why this has a 4.8 review. You literally can see EVERYTHING from shore that they show you on this boat. You are on the water for half an hour, however you do not go out of site of the pier. My tour guide was nice enough though. If it were $5.00 I would have given 5 stars, but $12.00 ... 3 stars is the best I can go on this, and that was only because the tiny aquarium was free. Also note, the parking is $3.25 but you can use the parking pass for the whole day here and elsewhere in campus parking, just read signs carefully or ask parking attendant.

5 /5 Laurel Waller: Such an amazing experience for all! We have taken this tour twice now, once with our 5 year old and again after our 2nd came along so with a 3 year old and a 9 year old. Both kids loved getting to hike around the property and check out the native plants, birds and waterway. The boat tour itself if informative and fun with beautiful views above and below the water. We purchased tickets off of Groupon this past spring and that was a nice way to save a little on tickets, which honestly are pretty reasonable to begin with. Highly recommend visiting!
