5 /5 Karla Stripling: I have been under Dr. Patel’s care for two pregnancies and I have had the best experience both times! He is extremely friendly, personable, and I can tell he cares about me as more than just a patient. Any concern I’ve had, he’s been reassuring and has handled everything with care. He was not able to be at the hospital to deliver my son, but he still called to check on me at midnight after I had delievered which meant so much to me. On top of that, Dr. Patel’s front office staff and nurses Mariah and Andrea are the sweetest people and I look forwars to seeing them at every visit. Cannot recommend Dr. Patel and his staff enough!

5 /5 Shawn Washington: I have been Dr.Patels patient since 1997. I was there for his residency and whenever he moved, I moved. Lol. In 1998, I was pregnant with my son and we both were excited because I already had 2 daughters. In the 3rd month, he discovered that my son had some abnormalities and he was not going to survive. He understood how strong my faith was so I would not terminate the pregnancy. He explained the grave risks that I was taking as I could have lost my life. He cared for me and my son until he was born and he was there when he passed away 2 hrs after delivery. 1 yr later I was pregnant again and this time it was a girl. She is now 24 yrs old. Dr. Patel is caring, very professional, honest, and takes his profession very serious. I would recommend ALL women, young and old to be his patient. Keep up the great work!!!

As a first time mom, I didn’t know what to expect but Dr. Patel & his staff made sure I was informed of what to expect every step of my pregnancy from check ups to hospital registration. I couldn’t ask for a better delivery experience-my baby & I were in great hands.

5 /5 heather niederjohn: You will NOT find a better practice. Dr. Patel AND associates truly truly care about their patients. They go the extra mile to double triple check that their patients are healthy and everything looks ok. Dr. Patel has delivered all three of my children and to say it feels like this Dr. office is part of the family is an understatement. His bedside manner is always of the most caring and professional. His unmatched nurses (Mariah specifically) make you feel like more than a patient, especially during tough times. If you are lucky enough to have Sugarland OBGYN as your OB, it’s a personal relationship and you will be getting the best treatment available for you and your growing baby.
