However, my experience with the front desk staff has been disappointing and frustrating. When we first visited, I was told that my daughters procedure required preauthorization from our insurance. I followed up two weeks later after switching to a new insurance plan. I spoke with Jennifer at the front desk, who updated our insurance information and told me she would call back with an updated estimate.
Unfortunately, I never received that call. I reached out again the following week and was told it was pending insurance approval. Another week later, I called again, and this time was told that since we have a PPO, preauthorization shouldnt even be necessary. Each time I called, I received a different explanation, and no one followed up as promised.
After four weeks of back and forth, and still no resolution, I have made the decision to take my daughter elsewhere. It’s disappointing because the dentist is great, but the lack of consistency, communication, and follow-through at the front desk made the process far more stressful than it needed to be. I hope they can improve their administrative processes for future patients.
