5 /5 Baillio Chris: Awesome place, lots of great views. I was able to fly my drone, and nobody ran me off, got some great pics!!!
5 /5 Paul Simonetti: I accidentally happened upon this location. I took a couple of photos of the Statue, which appeared to be very nice work. Avoid the porta-potty unless it is an emergency.
5 /5 Michael Talmadge: It was a humid June afternoon but lots of people were there. Canoe rentals were active and a food truck was there.
5 /5 Flo-Ryda Whiteman: Great view. Traffic can be tough. Big downhill to entrance. Can be a little sketchy. Next to downtown and college
Taylor Horn: I’ve been to the stockyards and historical Fort Worth multiple times and have never found this hidden gem until just the other week! This park is absolutely beautiful and so serene. It’s perfect for walking and there’s so many great picture opportunities. Love the artwork that’s around and the tunnel you can go through. So happy that we stumbled across this. I can’t wait to go back and walk more of this and just completely relax next time.
Shiloh Janes: Took my family into downtown while on vacation in the Stockyards. We felt very safe and never once was I not comfortable. Very clean and safe. Beautiful Texas City!
Emanuel Remilus: I came down here with a group of friends to see the Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive! It was great hearing the history of it and seeing the cattle. The area is really nice and walkable. We were able to visit a lot of shops and get some really cool souvenirs! There are lots of activities for families with small children. Overall, it was a great experience.
Stephen Walton: *EDIT* The map on AllTrails is now accurate. This may be true for other apps, but AllTrails is the one I use.
This is an amazing hiking spot just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Its pretty hilly, and because of that the trails get very muddy when it rains. The trail map is so inaccurate, its basically useless. Despite these faults, I have an amazing hike every time I come here. The views are picturesque and the trails are challenging but fun. If you enjoy being lost in nature just minutes from the city, this is your spot.
Courtney Cantrella: What an awesome experience! My son is low on the spectrum for autism and has always had sensory issues. This was definitely a sensory overload but the flight instructor, Cat, was RAD! She was completely aware of his nervousness, didnt push him to do anything that made him uncomfortable and checked in with me before she took him up high. She took it slow enough he wasnt overwhelmed, but made it a fun enough...and a little daring enough....to make my kid want to come back again! We bought him a pass so he can come back and hes already watching her jump videos on YouTube. Its safe, fun, you dont get the sensation of falling, and ask for Cat! Shes knowledgeable and just has a great sense of peoples skill level. I dont get credit or anything like that for this review! Just super grateful my kid (who is afraid of everything) got to experience something so thrilling and it be a GOOD memory! Thanks Cat and iFly team!
Leah G.: Beautiful park with some paved walkways as well as trail hiking. Hiked to see the waterfall and was kind of disappointed to be honest. Didn’t seem worth it to me but I’m still glad I hiked it. Found a couple things on the trail I don’t normally see… one was a car seat… a full seat from a car… it was weird. The other thing was an inspiration mailbox to put written inspiration messages in it for people on the trail to see. That was pretty cool. Fall foliage was beautiful.
