Saunders Park - Fort Worth (TX)

5 /5 Taylor Horn: I’ve been to the stockyards and historical Fort Worth multiple times and have never found this hidden gem until just the other week! This park is absolutely beautiful and so serene. It’s perfect for walking and there’s so many great picture opportunities. Love the artwork that’s around and the tunnel you can go through. So happy that we stumbled across this. I can’t wait to go back and walk more of this and just completely relax next time.

3 /5 Will: This is a beautiful park. However I wish it was better managed. There is a ton of trash in the river. There was an entire garbage bag of trash right in the center. It had been there so long you can see algae has grown on the bottom of it. There is another part by the tunnel that was disgusting. Lots of trash piled up. Gross growth in the water. There’s a shopping cart and a tire sitting in the river that’s been there for who knows how long. A lot of funds has been invested into this area. I just think they should clean it up. Have trash and recycling cans for people walking. Obviously the littering has been neglected and overlooked for sometime. Feel bad for turtles and fish that live in the filth. Many other people on the trail had disgusted looks and spoke out loud about the trash too.
