Marion Sansom Park - Fort Worth (TX)

3 /5 Leah G.: Beautiful park with some paved walkways as well as trail hiking. Hiked to see the waterfall and was kind of disappointed to be honest. Didn’t seem worth it to me but I’m still glad I hiked it. Found a couple things on the trail I don’t normally see… one was a car seat… a full seat from a car… it was weird. The other thing was an inspiration mailbox to put written inspiration messages in it for people on the trail to see. That was pretty cool. Fall foliage was beautiful.

4 /5 Stephen Walton: This is a really nice park to hike at. The trails here are very densely packed which on the upside means that there are a lot of trail miles crammed into a fairly small area. On the downside it means that you can see and hear other hikers a good amount of the time. There are some nice flat areas to hike as well as some steep hills and beautiful water features. My only real complaint is that because of the tight twists and turns I completely lost my sense of direction and with all the little shortcuts running between the trails its easy to end up walking around in circles. Plenty of beautiful nature and beautiful views though.

1 /5 SeaGreen Snail: Im not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from, but this park is awful. Not enough parking on a Sunday afternoon. Trash was EVERYWHERE along the lake. And not just food scraps but BATHING SUITS thrown off the side of the road. It was like I was looking at the Goodwill reject bin. Also the trails were not clearly marked at all. Where is this waterfall I keep seeing photos of? I couldnt figure out any way to get to it. The views are somewhat nice here, but they dont hold a candle to Eagle Mountain.

5 /5 Tristan Bridges: It was very pretty, it surprises me that these nature hiking trail places are so close to the city and stuff. I would imagine they would be far out like hours away, not right across the street from civilization. Some review said where was the waterfall? I just followed went down the hill and followed the trail down untill I heard the water fall and just followed the sound.
