Houston County Medical Center Crockett - Crockett Bobby Bowlin: At approximately 1 AM on January 1, 2017, I went to the ER experiencing excruciating pain in my right shoulder and back. Check in was quick and painless. I immediately saw a nurse and she took my vitals and a quick history of my pain. No sooner had she finished, the doctor came in and examined me. I was given a pain shot (highly appreciated) and observed for approximately two hours (total time from admitting to release) and sent home pain free. Today, I feel 100% better. Thank you HCH ER for your prompt service and display of professionalism.
Scenic Mountain Medical Center - Big Spring James Fox: I recently had the opportunity to experience care at SMMC, and I can not praise the staff and doctors enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free.
The medical team, including doctors and nurses, demonstrated incredible knowledge and compassion throughout my visit. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explain procedures in detail, and ensure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Their dedication to patient care truly shines, and it made a significant difference in my experience.
The facility itself was clean, well-organized, and equipped with the latest technology, which added to my confidence in the care I was receiving. I left feeling grateful and well-cared for, and I highly recommend SMMC to anyone in need of medical attention. Thank you to all the staff for making my visit a positive one!
West Texas VA Health Care System - Big Spring Becky Collins: The only reason I put 1 star is because I have to. The VA is JOKE to all Veterans. My husband has to jump through so many hoops to get any kind of service. The closest appointments he can get is over an hour away. When he finds a dentist that is great, surprise, the VA does not pay the bill. Its very sad and extremely frustrating that the VA is supposed to help but all they do is make it worse for so many Veterans. Its ridiculous. I have personally experienced them saying "I know certain things will help but I wont do that" to harassment letters to the receptionist yelling and screaming at him on the phone. DO SOMETHING FOR THE VETERANS WHO FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY VOLUNTARILY!!
