1 /5 Jade Muhs: Awful experience today. My appointment was at 4pm. At 405 I was told that I’d have to let myself back alone, weighed myself for the visit, had to find which room I was going to go to by myself because they didn’t have the arrows arranged right by the time. Waited in the room until 420 before someone else came in and said they needed bloodwork first. Left did that and came back. Finally got to see Dr. Kelly, for a checkup for a sprained ankle that is still obviously swollen and unable to hold weight that well. She only glanced at it. Didn’t bother to actually check on it and told me they would send me to a podiatrist to look at it, whenever the specialist could get me in (not until next week) She refused to give me a light duty note for work, even though I told her I can’t stand 8 hours on my ankle yet and she said well the podiatrist is going to have you start weight bearing on it as part of PT. Which I know but I can only stand half an hour at a time before the pain gets too unbearable and even before then the pain starts at standing 5 minutes. She finally wrote me a work note to cover up until I get to see the specialist only after I literally burst into tears from the pain and frustration. She’s the only dr there that literally raises my blood pressure. I’ve had appointments with every one else there and my blood pressure is always normal. But with her my blood pressure is flagged as high.
