1 /5 B Spivey: Older does not mean better customer service or experience. Had to leave after the wash bc they do not value your time. When your over booking interferes with my time it’s a problem. I’m not a friend I’m a paying customer and that’s it. I’d drive back to Austin to get my hair done before I pay to be treated as anything less than a valued customer. They are just as ghetto and unprofessional as they come. And I have no problem walking out with my pocket full of cash and my hair wet. Thank you for blessing me on the way out ladies.

Kitta lucas: Went to Denise for a Dye and a twist out, only for my hair to turn out dry and brittle. The first thing that went wrong was my hair was red instead of copper, so I gave her the opportunity to change it and add more color, only for parts of my hair to be bright Orange (luckily it was hidden in the middle). My roots weren’t left brown like I asked about 3 inches of my hair was and there was still dye in my hair that got on my pillows and washed out in a sink by another hairstylist. When asked about a refund or for another treatment I was told to come in Sunday then blocked. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND for dyeing.

Kari Urdi: Eastgate Barber & Beauty Shop is a fantastic place to get a haircut! My husband and three sons have been there twice now, and weve been consistently impressed. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they do a wonderful job with the haircuts. What really stands out to me is their patience and understanding, especially with my youngest son who is on the autism spectrum. One of the stylists was absolutely amazing with him. She was so gentle and understanding, and even used a hose attachment on her clippers to minimize the noise, which was a huge help. She made the whole experience so much less stressful for him, and for me! Beyond their excellent service, theyre also very efficient. Were in and out quickly, which is a huge plus for a busy family. And theyre happy to make adjustments – my husband got his hair cut today and they were happy to take off a bit more when he asked. Weve found our go-to barbershop and will definitely be back to Eastgate!

annika: Michael’s instagram looked promising which is why I booked. Unfortunately my haircut turned out bad. He was stopping to check his phone often and completely messed up the top of my hair. As you can see it is not all one length, very choppy, and left a bit of hair behind my ears. Really disappointed

babytie: When I left NY i was sad because I was wondering who was going to treat my hair like my Dominicans!!!! I moved to Colorado then came breakage and all. Next was Texas omg im like im bout to cut my hair cause my hair is falling off/shedding alot. I stumbled through fb or craiglist and found her. I didnt know what a Keratin Treatment was but at time I was desperate and Trusting in word. I remeber she was Closed on Tuesday and she opened up for me and I was greatful for that and when she finished my hair OMG I LOVED MY HAIR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe my hair looked so healthy. A year later I love this lady and her hands. Just come and u wont look no where else just like me.... Thank You Unique & Elegant and staff for what you do and that u love what you do!!!!!!!!!!!
