3 /5 sereta smith: The salon was nice and clean, prompt service and I was happy when I left. The same night, I lost a curl (goddes braids) but assumed it was 1 stray hair. Nope! It hasnt been 2 weeks and I have lost a massive amount of curls. I took a photo but Im not sure how to add it here. Its obvious she did not braid them down far enough before leaving the pieces loose. I did notice that she was asking questions to the older braider next to us in her native language and she would look over at my hair and respond. Im assuming she has not done this style very many times before. I would be okay with her practicing but not while being charged full price. I would probably give 1 star but its not fair to the entire salon when only 1 person did my hair but Im not sure of her name.

1 /5 albert elmore: THIER service is horrible, I went there and they do not know how to communicate to the customer. They were very loud and rude, the service I received was awful. They couldn’t do a straight braid in my head . I left there and went to another braiding shop and they were surprised by the sloppy work they had done. After talking my braids down they re did my head to perfection. The place I went to and received professional and courteous service was MAMA AFRICAN HAIR 1705 S FT HOOD ST.

I spoke to the owner and the one who did her hair and neither offered a refund only for her to come back in to be rebraided. I informed both the first time she came in she was treated very rude and left and this time she walked out with messed up hair. I will never let her step foot in there again. We went to SHALOM BRAIDING who have treated her amazing BOTH times. Even the women getting their hair done could not believe they let her walk out looking like that. A complete shame to allow someone to walk out like that and the only time she was given a mirror was to confirm the part was "good" I would have never tipped $30 if I knew my child was walking out looking a mess

Nicholas: Absolutely BOTCHED a medium skin fade haircut. Was only faded about an inch up and left the rest. Made the front uneven. Had an arch in the line on the back. Then they slapped gel or product in it, cleaned it up so it looks fine until I showered and realized how bad it looked. It took 45 minutes for them to do a half done, terrible fade job. DO NOT GO TO THIS BARBERSHOP. $25 (+ Tip) down the drain.
