    Mandy Morrison: I LOVE the girls at Wild Hare!! Kristin has been doing my hair for a few years now, cut and color. I have extremely thick curly difficult hair, and Kristin is the only person I have found that can work wonders. The salon is cute and comfortable and the stylists there are very professional and know their stuff!! I highly recommend Kristin for curly cuts and color!!

    Patsy Aguirre: Went into Shag Noir to get a haircut from Hannah since I’ve seen her amazing work on others and her immaculate taste in hair styles and I had THE best experience I’ve had in Austin. The salon is cute and the customer service and sense of belonging, comfort, and relaxation that I experienced was exactly the experience I sought, not to mention the wonderful cut that Hannah gave me. I gave her a handful of ideas, and she listened to me without being dismissive and brought them to life AND it grew out gracefully and it still looks amazing after 1+ month. Highly recommend—Hannah is the best!

    Jessica Draskovich: Erin of Tulip Hair Studio - simply put - gets me :-) She has taken the time to understand my hair type but also how low maintenance I need my hair to be. She is an expert colorist and has made it so I don’t hate my grays! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was warm and accommodating. Manju took the time to understand what I wanted and offered great suggestions based on my hair type. The cut was precise and flattering, and the color turned out vibrant and beautiful.     Manda M: Amy completely destroyed my hair by overprocessing it and I am devastated. I spoke extensively with Joe and Amy about how I wanted to slowly lighten my hair for a special event several months out, and that hair integrity was my number one priority over color. Amy said she understood and that she had the capacity to do this. She did not. I asked her to do a stand test and she said that was not usual policy and unnecessary. My hair was fried beyond repair in one appointment. Amy was sneaky and turned me away from the mirror to style my hair after she bleached it and used heat and hairspray to hide the damage. My hair was breaking off and she didnt want me to see. That evening and into the next day my hair was clearly dry and frazzled and I could see it falling out. Amy told me that once the hairspray she used was washed out it should feel better. I came back to see Amy to discuss the damage as I had lost several inches of hair at the front and she said that she would have to trim the front sections and trim the back otherwise they would continue to break up the hair shaft. She had over saturated my hair which is clear from the bright color spots (see photos). She gave me the worst haircut Ive ever seen in my life and told me not to tie my hair up or to use any heat on it for at least 3 months. She admitted that my hair was stretching and gummy when it was wet after the bleaching and she hid this from me. Amy didnt show any remorse or apologize. She refunded me and told me that it was policy to not see the client again after refunding them (this is clearly a common occurrence). Amy had no intention of providing any after care to try to help me - As youll see from other reviews, Amys catch all phrase when she destroys peoples hair is "you need to practice better home care". This was NOT the case for me as the damage was already evident minutes after leaving the salon. Amys inexperience and ignorance has literally cost me my hair and its still in bad condition months later. Her complete lack of personal and professional integrity is the worst part about all this. Amy is a terrible human being who knows what she did and she didnt have the decency to help to fix the situation, she just wanted to run from it. I know this, Amy knows this and God knows this. Amy has bad energy and juju. Avoid this salon at all costs.
