When I moved to Texas 7 years ago I would travel back to her salon in Colorado just for her to highlight and cut my hair. Now I drive from Austin to Dallas for my highlights. I have very fine hair that breaks and tangles easily. She is able to recommend the best way to keep my highlights going while maintaining healthy hair. Erika is truly the kindest and sweetest person. Emma Walters: I cannot stress enough how magical Carly Burns is as a stylist and colorist. Not only does she have excellent attention to detail, but you can tell simply by how she moves that she’s an incredibly considerate person, always aware of your needs even before you are. Hair can be a frustrating thing to deal with, but when Carly’s through with it, you remember that it can be also be very rewarding. She’s the only one who’s been able to get my hair to my favorite shade of red, a color long discontinued. Going to see Carly is a major treat in my life, one I can seldom afford to do though I wish I could fervently. When I do go see her though, I know I’m going to have a great day and leave feeling like myself again.
