5 /5 maria estrada: A pleasant experience at the LBJ ER. I came to the ER due a lot of pain. The nurses and other staff were very respectful and efficient at treating me. The triage nurse Christine did a great job of helping me get the medical help I needed. Wait time was very fast and efficient. I really love their triage system. Would recommend this ER to anyone in need of medical help

5 /5 Myra Gill: Feb. 4, 2025: Had to be taken to LBJ By EMT Ambulance My whole right side was numb. Everyone Nurses, Doctors, Techs were very nice and respectful I had a light stroke. My journey began in the ER, Critical Care, Physical therapy, nutritionist and then the Stroke Ward 2nd floor. Had to have CT Scan, MRI on my head and Ultra Sound of Heart, Blood Work usual stuff for stroke. Everything was explained to me and answered all my questions and took very good care of me. Very attentive. Thank you all so much you made what was expected to be a stressful situation much more relaxing. I was able to go home on Thursday Feb. 6, 2025. I showed improvement every day while in the hospital. Now my Recovery Phase begins

5 /5 heath heath: Some of their security guards could use a lesson in being more helpful towards the elderly and physically affected when theyre entering or exiting the buildings and the auto doors are not working. They should report the non-working doors to maintenance, but other than that the medical staff and check-in staff are always friendly and helpful.

5 /5 Lupe Garcia: This hospital saved my life in 1999 and tonight they saved my sons life. I dont know what the circumstances were for the 1 star reviews but if I could give them 20 stars I would. They have security in the front doors for everyones safety but they were so kind when I was having a complete breakdown. I felt like this wasnt going to be a good experience. The emergency room was packed when we walked in but the security officer noticed the severity of the situation & immediately got a wheelchair. The lobby nurses as well did the most excellent listening skills , patience and sincere concern. I really never felt this way going to any hospital before. As I walked to the back everyone of the staff was kind , concerned and helpful. There was so many workers helping me I didnt catch their names but they did such an outstanding job saving my sons life. These people who give so much care and concern about others need to know they really truly mean the world to me & my family. Usually I have so many complaints about services but all I can keep saying is thank God for the nurses & security guards there. They immediately started running tests on my son & did an amazing job so far caring for him. Before when growing up I wouldnt have thought to come here for any help but that was then. Now they have upgraded the entire hospital from the entrance to park to the lady who checks you in. She was even so nice to me. I could barely talk because I had been crying . All I could feel was care and concern out of everyone. The doctors came in and helped me in the middle of when my son was having a seizure which really gave me so much hope & renewed faith about the medical staff. They took control of the situation as I was having a breakdown. I clearly was having a panic attack to which one of the staff even helped calm me down. When real life emergencies happen dont be scared to go to LBJ . This is not the old LBJ this staff absolutely goes above and beyond to save lives. I just hope and pray people treat all of the workers with the upmost respect. They earned my respect today. I appreciate them all. And there is nothing none of these bad reviews can say to make me change my mind. Maybe they didnt get their way or they just wanted to complain. I hope the rest of my journey of this long road to recovery for my son is just the same as the beginning. If I could give the staff awards for their behavior & service tonight I most certainly would. They deserve it.
